Great hunting Finn, that was a Bagger Skull nice find, pop it on a shelf in the weighing room. Good to see the Woodcock about.
Thank you 👍 we all thought it was a badger skull with the ridge, found outside a badger set. We have been seeing plenty of woodcock around at the min, have you seen many yourself this year?
@@finnbuckoutdoors yes after a full moon they come in, my dog flushed a few my HH has caught 1, also my dog has picked up 2 laid them down at my feet and they flew off, amazing to watch them play dead in the dogs mouth. He is very soft mouthed. The Badger skull as you say has a high ridge the fox is similar but small ridged. Good luck.

That was a great hunt, lots of pheasant about, the Woodcock was great to see, amazing how it was trapped nicely released too, great ethics helping nature. Amazing what you can see when out with your hawk. And a happy hawk feeding up on its catch, perfect.
This was a great day out, first woodcock I have seen up close. Sadly this was Bellas last day out as a squirrel bite to the toe has put things back a few months but she is recovering well 👍

He gets between 2 and 3 day old chicks every day or the same amount of other meats like rabbit and pheasant depending on his weight and how he behaves
