My wife and I lived in Pacifica for a year (2014) near Mori Point a few hundred yards from the beach. We loved it. Now we live on the East coast and miss Pacifica and Highway 1 every day.

Man I miss this place. Would have loved to build a life there but just couldn't quite find a niche.

Miss it

The movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 was filmed there in Oregon. I think the locations for feudal Japan were either in or near Astoria if I'm not mistaking. None of the movie was filmed in Japan. I'm sure it was easier, faster, & cheaper for the movie making crew to make the movie in Oregon than in Japan too because Oregon is closer & had spots that were easier to decorate like 17th century Japan.

I lived in Astoria/Warrenton back in the 80’s. It looks very much as I remember. Such a beautiful town, a beautiful area.
