Relive the Red Sox's three miracles of 2018
I wish Rick Porcello didn’t gave up the Home Run to Andujar, because if you remember, Jordan’s Furniture was running a Campaign that if a Red Sox pitcher throws a no hitter, everything was free. Could’ve been hilarious
One of my fav players when i was younger. Loved his stance, power, etc. just an overall beast!!!
So in 1997 he hit 3 at wrigley field in a game, inter league at white sox and does the same thing. Has to be the first to complete that stat. Anyone know another player to do that?
Never understood why he's a 7th ballot hall of famer. Such a crime
Thanks for the awesome video! Love ur content!
he's just outside the hall of fame. great stats, good fielder, great competitor.
His batting stance is intimidating
very first play dope Jerry Coleman calls Alomar "Ramirez". You can hang a start on that one baby! 😂
My Man!!
2:37 6 years later and they still dont know how to properly execute this play
Grew up in Dayton, Ohio and made the trip to Cincy at least three times a season with my Dad during the mid 70's into the 80's. Loved the Big Red Machine. Johnny Bench was my favorite. Got a Johhny Bench glove for Christmas. Loved it. I remember screaming and hollering when Bench tied the 1976 NLCS in the 9th.
Total jerk with the Mets.
Not enough defensive highlights he made quite a few good plays. Him with Omar was fun to watch those defensive wizards.
Don Orsillo man…
El escupidor
I was also: Jeff Bagwell.
Hank one of the best awesome all around hitter God bless him.
I'm rewatching this in 2024 with a giant smile on my face. Good times, Great Sox team, and sh*tting on the Yankees will never get old.
kil the bakc gourdn music
What a thrill to watch!
Never thought much of this guy. WAY OVERRATED.
I’m a Dominican born and Bench was my idol I played catcher and one of my managers used to call me Bench, that’s the happiest years of the 70 when players love the game, no steroids, no drugs only pure joy for the game.
I'm a native San Franciscan and I was at the 512 HR night with my Dad. Willie Mays was my childhood.
The man was just different. Best DH ever and maybe the best clutch postseason hitter ever
Greatest Ball player in MLB history
As a young boy I played little league baseball and was a catcher And going to Reds games he became my idol I even raised my face mask to spit like him
J.D. had such a amazing season in 2018. He was the 2nd best MLB player that year only behind his teammate Mookie
I wish we still had him. I miss him and I miss Mookie a ton too
The greatest catcher of all time, and my favorite baseball player of all time!
did anyone else notice that alomar didnt really hit moonshots he hit alot of line drives homers his home runs simply got out
Sox clinched AL East at Yankee stadium in Sept of 2018!!!
Bagwell always looked like he put everything he had into every swing lol
Growing up in Fresno in the 80 i LOVED Will Clark. Had over 100 over his baseball cards and wore 22 playing little league. Was so upset when he left the giants
Al Downing served that pitch up...center cut, batting practice fastball 😉
Will Clark’s worst OPS was in 1986, his rookie season. His best OPS was in 2000, his final season. 😮
Far and away the best all around and pure hitter of my lifetime. In an elimination situation with 2 outs bottom 9 there is no one I want in the batters box than prime David Ortiz. No one.
Most baseball rankings have the 1927 Yankees and the '75 Cincinnati Reds as one and two of the best all-time teams. If you could have had a fantasy World Series matchup, I can't think of a better one to have.
Fred Lynn and Luis Tiant should be in the HOF. Period. Same for the Reds' Clay Carroll.
Baseball...when the grass was real...in some ballparks.😂
Magical
Damn seeing that home run at wrigley is crazy, I wish I was there to watch him, his swing is crazy compared to most mlb swings nowadays I think
Better times. There's a reason Brady is The Greatest QB. And, Jordan is The Greatest basketball player. Any guess to the reason why?
Johnny was The Man!
johnny bench didn't test bill singer. bill singer tested johnny bench.
Bench was one of those rare athletes, like Wilt, Ruth, and Cobb, who changed how their sports were played forever! The Man was a Man among boys! Those Reds teams were just phenomenal, & Bench was a huge part of that! When he came out of that firing the ball to Morgan, it was like a laser streaking right for the bag!
I just loved 🥰 watching him play baseball ⚾️. He was special, then and now.
The most important player in Red Sox history.
My all-time favorite center fielder, along side Ted Williams in left and Al Kaline in Right. 😅😅😅
I got to see Will hit a few Homers at the Stick when I was a kid. Was my favorite player of all time. That Swing!
What a shame that this compilation is limited to his most significant home run milestones ; henry Aaron is without a doubt one of the finest base runners and fielders to ever play the sport , with an arm / glove and legs rivaled only by the likes of Lou Brock , Carl yazstremski , Bobby Clemente , and players cut from that rarest of cloth ...
