We also have a big big park only with rides & fun for kids called " Orășelul Copiilor " where i sugested you to see King Carol Park ( The litlle town for the kids ) but is also for grown ppl to have fun , all at Eroii Revoluției ( the heroes off the revolution ), also there is Cimitirul Belu ( very beautiful cemetery where famos ppl rest ) , also Cimitirul Eroii Revoluției where the heroes off the revolution rest . You have manny sectors to visit & manny interesting places . Not only sector 1 is full off places to see. I grew where the heroes off the revolution are & we have so manny museums . Gold museum, Sports Museum, Reptiland with snakes & reptiles etc . Bucharest is big and full off nice places to visit cheep & fun ❤

I am intrigued by your titles also: "Romania is not what do you think". What did you think about Romania before coming here? These titles seem to be for ignorant people who still think Romania is underdeveloped? I mean it is enough to look up online and see that Romania, economicly speaking is over Greece and at the same level with Portugal and Hungary and very close to Poland. I think this ignorance should stop.

Basarab was the 1st attested ruler (Voievod or Domnitor) of Wallachia (Țara Românească). He was the namesake of a part of historical Moldova - the part east of the Prut river- which is also known as Basarabia in Romanian (Bessarabia in english)- a part that was occupief by Russia from 1812 to 1918 and after WW 2 (Soviet Repzblic of Moldova) which after 1991 became then the now independent Republic of Moldova. There is a theory that Basarab could be a name of Cuman origin.

If you have the time go in King Carol Park to see the mousoleum raised for the unknow soldier is a masiv opera sclupted for the hero hwo died in the war sculpted by Emil Wilhelm Becker , was finished in 1923 . Is masive & there are guard , tuns, cannels , soldiers hwo stay 24/7 on guard there & a fire that burns all the time, those flames are not stoped 24/ 7 . It' s a must see from Bucharest. Go to King Carol Park you will not be sorry. I take usually the metro from Piața Romană & then you change on Piata Unirii & another metro , you stop at the station :" Eroii Revoluției !" ( Revolution Heroes). You will be fine with the metro & cheep ❤. You are allowed to visit but don' t touch the soldiers or stay to close , there is a line you must not pass. It' s very beautiful . And the view is impresive!! There are a lot off staires to walk but it' s easy , there is a lake with duck etc very beautiful ❤king Charles & other presidents came to pay respect to this ❤

If you go on the Danube Delta where is the border with Serbia there is a sculpture , a masiv sculper carved in the mountain with the King Decebal ( the Dacians King ). There is whriten also in stone some words . Our lanq is a romance lanq just like italian old , 1700 years old our lanq from latin with slavic influence. Horea , Cloșca & Crișan . The story is like this : In 1784 they started a revolution( " Răscoala de la 1784 ") a revolution in Transilvania they started in the name off the village ppl . The story is long & i don' t really know how to whrite corectlly in english for you to understand . But what is important is that all the ppl you saw there are heroes in they own right.

That huge building opposite Gara de Nord is the Ministry of Transports! I worked there nearly thirty years at the National Roads Administration! Is not a communist building. It was constructed for offices only! Years of construction are 1906- 1910.

In 19:49 you are on gara Basarab,who are very close to gara de nord.

In fact Basarab whas a medieval ruller of Wallachia.
