when i saw the horns walk out at the beginning, i knew right away they had to play this at some point. didn't disappoint at all, their performance brought me to actual tears

i was there! sad to say i wasn't too familiar with much of their work outside of surface level stuff like flood,beforehand, and the concert made me go down a whole rabbit hole and find a lot of my new favorite songs. this one in particular stuck out to me, the mournful tone and instrumental are so gorgeous. flansburgh's harmony during the chorus is just a joy to hear, the emotion is linnell's voice is haunting, and the amazing horns section just brings it all together. what a phenomenal performance of a phenomenal song

This was my first show for the Beth’s and I felt really spoiled cause it seemed like SUCH a good show. Watching this- I am confirmed in knowing that was a really special night. They killed it for Vermont and I am so grateful to have this!!!
