Avoiding pot holes at Never Been Bogged Show & Shine 2024
The bosses lowered 200 Series got a few laughs as we we're the only vehicle there avoiding potholes. We had a great day at the Never Been Bogged Show & Shine. Brilliant event! Well done to Nick, Maddy and everyone who helped them to create a fantastic day! We really need more of this in here in SA.

We would have loved to have been there but we are more into mud and bogs. 😂😂
🔥🔥🔥🔥
We're the last generation to know what it feels like driving a proper car. That's sad.
Sad to ponder... Maybe the current generation who are in their teens might be the last? Will common sense prevail?
I just bought mine hopefully putting it on this weekend

Do you guys ship to US?
100% top notch products
Means alot coming from someone who's OCD about quality! Cheers Brad!
I had my catch can fitted by a mechanic years ago and I’m not sure if he has the hoses on the right way? Does the manifold cover hose go to the top of the catch can? On a 2017 MUX Isuzu…. Thanks in advance.
Where do we get this kit from
Be great if it didn't have the music in the vid
Good advice mate! And welcome to the HPD Tribe! - You're gonna love your turbo kit legend. We'll make sure we go easy on the music in future. The engine/intake/turbo/exhaust noise is music enough
1hz with more than 40% power gain won't last long. Indirect injection
With a safe tune and intercooled it sits comfortably at 16psi. With better engine response, better fuel consumption and obviously more power, you're not hitting max power for very long, only when you need it. Most of the driving is performed in between the 5-8psi mark. This is one of our highest selling kits and there's no reason for premature engine failure, providing install and tune done correctly.

What boost is he running mate ?
Not sure, but we don't recommend anything over 14 - 18psi max as a safe and healthy tune
I can confirm these are a very solid aluminium Modified mine for a vented setup
Sounds interesting. Would like to see pics?
Love it
Use a lawn mower oil suction kit from Bunnings thru dip stick hole, EASY
Absolutely 1 trip offroad and you'll never get the bustard things undone, Ordered a provent and ARB Lismore Installed hod instead, not impressed at all.
Mine has been on for 100k and I've removed so much crap that would've caused EGR trouble, money WELL SPENT. I use a lawn mower oil changer to suck crap out thru dip stick hole.
They're a grouse bit of kit ay
That’s why I am keeping my well looked after 06 Toyota Prado Diesel the last of the super reliable engines just before the D4-D and onwards we bought it new and has travelled 300 thousand klm’s and has and is super reliable and utterly durable with zero problems and the key is in looking after and proper servicing and as far as I’m concerned it’s just run in! The vehicle is as tight as the day we bought it so why get rid of it as its so cost effective every year since and We also have two other cars bought new includes an FG XR6 which is really a piece of shit but I’ll persevere with it unfortunately and my wife’s BMW Diesel bought new in 2013 and so far so good I just hope it turns out to be reliable as the Prado but Im crossing my fingers at this stage the hood thing is these don’t have those DPF things and that’s why Im hanging in to them
My 2014 cruze is diesel. I do all highway. Very little around town. I've been a oil change nut my whole life, had a gas cavalier with 358 000 when I sold it. So far the cruze has about 150k on it runs great, check engine is on for that dumb louver in the grill. I notice that the oil is clean when you pour it in. After 30 sec it's Grey. I thought that could be a problem, but that was 100k miles ago. Just keep fresh oil in it and drive the highways.
I never got my hoses lol
Went to Pirtek and they got it sorted
So diesels that go distance on the highway, tow, and do a bit of off roading don’t need catch cans. Good to know I made the right choice not getting one.
These DPF things are just money makers . So they are suppose to make the exhaust cleaner . So the catch the soot and then burn it off using sheep urine Add Blue additive. Another cost . Then where does the burnt soot go ? Yes into the atmosphere ….. stupid idea
Also . Don’t run thin motor oil in the belief it will provide longer klm on fuel . All thin oil does is create more blow by. Diesel engines need good quality heavy weight oil . Min 15w-40 better yet 20w-50is far better . Also fit a catch can and an extra incline fuel filter 3 micron in between your cars Oem filters and the fuel injector pump . These few points will greatly lengthen your diesels life . Regular services are the secret .
Drive it like you stole it and it loves it lol 😂
Id happily have a reliable petrol engine in a Ute... But they keep putting shit Diesel Turbos in them.
Catch cans?? You will be left holding the can if something goes wrong and your car is still under warranty. No vehicle manufacturer will look at you. Same with remapping and chips etc. Sure they might give you more of this or that but when things go pear shaped in the engine dept or transmission. Forget your warranty. You'll be left with a pricey repair bill and no warranty cover. Most engine designers factor in most of the things that will comply with epa and fuel power performance ratio for the type of vehicle and the expected type of driving they are designed for. Do your homework.
And you be left holding the can when the warranty has expired and you need a new EGR valve, intercooler and several sensors because the oil you could have removed with a catch can has blocked everything up.
@@tofiking3944 once your warranty has expired then you can do what you want but forget it if your car is still under warranty. If you drive like a granny with a diesel engine you are only looking for trouble. Diesels like to work and like towing climbing and heavy sweating it out on the track. Catch cans may be good for some cars and drivers but like I said do your homework.
Just remove the catch can befor you take it in to the dealership if that’s your worry, takes five minutes to put it back the way it came. They never know that you had a catch can on there.
This is absolute rubbish , I have been using Diesel cars for the last 40 yrs , I do not know where they get their information from , easily 500,000km if you service on time every time . I do it my self to make sure it gets done , easy as
The old indirect injection, 4.2l 6 cylinders are long gone mate that was the golden era. These new common rail 2 litres are pieces of crap to own long term. If you're the type to get a new car every 5 years it's not an issue but wait until the 5-7 year mark when you're up for a set of injectors that are over 3 grand just for the genuine parts alone not including fitting you'll be like everybody else that's woken up and are going to petrols. Petrol 4wd's are way better on fuel than they were 10-20 years ago, cheaper price tag on the car itself and cheaper to maintain long term. Diesels have been ruined by emissions and fuel economy requirements and people who want a dual cab 4wd ute to drive like a commodore while being fully loaded with muddys on towing a 3ton caravan.
@@AP-ow5vu all have turbos now too, which kills the engine over time.
They are talking city cars . Not people like you who drive long distances .
@@shaneanderson1036 Most people who own diesels shouldn't own them. Most diesel owners are just driving major cities and having issues.
@Charles Martell Blocking off the EGR is the main thing, you don't need the catch can. The oil vapour actually does some good it's the exhaust gasses that cause the problems.
Sell to America?
i know how to fix cut the dpf out there fix good to go
You make it as if we have a choice of engine in those utes..
Only a few very base model utes have Petrol, like the Hilux, then its all Diesel from there. Dont need a V6, but a good 4 cylinder Japanese engine, more than enough. Yet they wont offer them like they do in the SUVs, its stupid. All because of fleets sales and "fuel efficiency".
Why don’t you put a filter inside them to make them more effective?
Can't close a bonnet properly though 😂
Mann Hummel Provent made in Germany makes the best one by far. It’s actually fitted to cars at the factory in Germany since the dieselgate scandal. They’re great.
Not the best unit as you may think... One example is that the outlet is on the bottom of the unit which on a bumpy road could suck oil into the intake of the engine.
Look's better functioning better made than another big brand's
Very clean install. Thanks for the guide! Now i know that we can use the stock hose connector
WTF?.....That's NOT a Raptor!.....do you have a video for an actual Raptor?
This is the Australian delivered Ford Ranger Raptor.
It’s a Ranger Raptor
