I just installed this onto my 2015 s1000rr and I’m getting an ews error code. Is this a common issue with the jet prime keyless ignitions?
Hi I did not get any error codes from this instal. Just check all the connections and that the key is installed correctly in the holder
Brilliant video thanks! Just wondering i have a rattle sound on my k67 2022 on the stator side wonder if its a big issue 🤷🏽♂️ hope its just something in stator cover 😬 does a lot of oil come out if i remove alternator/stator cover ?
thanks, its realy hard to answer this without hearing the sound. so the answer is no the oil level if you check the oil window is way under the cover for the stator. you will have som dropps so have som cloth near by
@@omidanka8785 thanks. I have got a leak somewhere. I’m thinking it’s coming somewhere from stator alternator 😬
Is it the same process on S1000RR 2014 Gen 2 ? Cool Video Man.
Thanks man. I have no clue but in theori it should be the same
Thanks for the upload nice and easy - the dash protector looks awesome just found one online from Reactive parts decent upgrade for my BMW. New sub here bud ride safe 😎👍
Glad i could help
You saved me! I am trying to piece together a bag of unknown bolts to match up to the fairing kit I just ordered THANK YOU!

Thanks man 🙏 I had no idea where to put them. You saved me so much time.

how da hell fit lower joint to swingarm =) ? my one not going into some "specer" there not alowing to push it on place, k67 2024 and TTX GP BMA 568 as yours
so you have to move the swing upp or down a bit to find the exact spot
@@omidanka8785 actually insert at bolt hole was out little bit, pushed it inside and shock jumped on place as oem
You can access the upper bolt by removing the lower bolt and then raising the swing arm with a jack. The jack is also useful for alignment when reinstalling.
Absolutely LOVE your videos. Your step by step procedures are extremely informative and knowledge enhancing. I have the same bike along with the new 2024 M1000rr. ....What was your reasoning for not showing how the cartridges were installed? Did it make a big difference? Do you miss DDC? did it feel awkward at first?
Thank you for your kind words. so it depends on what you ar after. if you are chasing redlights on the street you best option is the ddc. if you are chasing laptimes on the track nothing is more important than the suspension chassi and tyres. So the cartridges was installed by a suspension tech and i could not film it . So it is 100% better than the DDC on track so i dont miss the DDC at all. :(. Have fun and ride safe
@@omidanka8785 Very nice, thanks man!
Did you find that the comp and rebound settings that are now active made a difference to the feel of the front fork that differ from DDC? How and why?
yes i did. Så riding on the track you need to be able to set the rebound and comp so you can adjust the bikes front depending on the track you are on
So helpful! Showing the size of the bolts is something no one does, I’m trying to figure out what bolts go where and your videos saved me 🎉
Glad i could help :)
Is this possible for the 2023 model ?
I think it is. but not sure , it should be same
Super infomative bro! Thanks!
thank you, glad you like it
For those interested getting the second clip off. It takes a small flat headed screw driver to release the clip. The clip is between the actual clip and handlebar so not very easily accesible. Only visible once removed which is not great 👍🏻
Great vid! Anyway we can see how that bump stop being made?
Hi Tony so i found hard rubber that is used to support the car suspension like this www.biltema.se/bil---mc/bilverktyg/chassiverktyg/spiralfjadertillbehor/gummimellanlagg-6-st-2000043863 Cut it in half then drilled 2 holes and used ziptie to attach it to fork leg
@@omidanka8785 appreciate that, I am inspired. because, last version (K46), I stuck it on the frame, the frame on hot, and the glue lost adhesiveness. the fork will not have that problem. zip tie is also a genius part!
Great vid. Just done abs bypass and thumb brake on my k67. Get an error when moving off about abs and then half a lap in the speedo goes to 3 dashes - - - does yours do this ?
Thank you . i did not get any errors. I send my display to RS2E to avoid faults like that. Hope it sorts out.
I see u have the carbonin fairings or similiar ones. I have a question. is it somehow possible to put that race seat on and keep the bike street legal? For sure you need the tank, underseat and back fairing. But on the back fairing i guess theres no chance to fit the lights and license plate anymore. what do you think would it be somehow possible with some drilling/cutting?
Hard to say but my guess is it should be possible
I’m planning to change fork tubes whats the measurements for tubes. I saw ebay tubes length 480mm thats can be fit for k67 tubes?
Sory i dont know can you measure the onse you have on your bike?
Are those speed bleeders?
Yes :)
@@omidanka8785 Do they work on stock calipers? You have the link
www.motomillion.com/products/stahlbus-master-cylinder-quick-bleeder-valve-with-dust-cap-for-s1000rr?variant=31227286945858
Hi! Do you have BMW/2D datalogger? I am wondering is the suspension travel is logged? The rear sensor is instaled already and both of them can be access from logs?
Hi. no i run the aim solodl2 for data and logg. So i gott a sensor for the front and connected to the original harnes of the bike. I get values from the sensor so it is logged in ECU
Handy tip for removing the abs metal lines, cut them by the engine bolt, then they pull out pretty easily. And RS2e now sell a ABS pump cover, thats quite a bit cheaper than the Alpha one. Thanks for the helpful vid!
Any way to get pressure back to get data.
Hi, Sorry you need external pressure sensors if you want to logg the pressure :(
There must be patents in place that keep manufactures from providing blocks like these stock? If so I wonder when will those expire?
I have thought "I bet some rear wheels have come right off of motorcycles with open axle slots" I mean people get side tracked and forget to tighten axle nuts ya know? So if that were the case and the chain snapped what prevents the entire wheel from slipping out of the swing arm? idk matbe the brake is enough to hold it together? Otherwise you just know it has happened as I have seen riders just ignore a really messed up chain adjustment that HAD to be telling them something is wrong At least with this style adjuster the axle is held in place as opposed to stock on many modern MCs that is not the case
Hi Omid, I know raising the handlebars makes the riding more comfortable overall. Does it improve steering too?
Hi, så the hight of the handelbars dosent do anyting to the steering but if you have them low its easyer to put more weight on the bars and if you do that you will turn faster withe the bike
How did you remove the second wire you didn’t show it 🤦
Hi. Its a normal conector there is a lip that you have to lift with your nail or a s.driver and pull the cabel
When you coils went dead, did you get any fault codes? Can you remember which code it was if yes?
No you will not get a faultcode. You need a lasertermometer to mesure the each manifold ( 4 of them) if you hav one or more that have much Lowe temp then you need to change the coils
Do you have the alpha canister delete?
no, if you mean charcole canister delet
What should such protection protect against? if the bike falls sideways, these points will not touch the road.
hi , it is for protection of the rim
Dude, you mutilated this bike to get the engine out. Holy shit.
And the engine is back in with no faultcodes :)
What are those pins called ??? I lost one of mine
What pins are you talking about? do you mean the lock washers?
@@omidanka8785 yes
Hej Omid säg mig hur mkt gick motor renoveringen på hos Alpha racing i Tyskland? Vad bytte de? Mvh
For me it ended up at 5000 euro. they changed all the bearings one valve and some other parts
The weak point in these engines are the exhaust valves! They musth be checked at 1000 km (600 miles) if you track the bike or race it. Check valve clearance and adjust properly! Otherwise these engines dont break, they have very strong cranks, conrods and pistons unlike the Yamahas/Kawasakis...
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Helped me a lot.
Thank you for watching.
Thank you for the time and effort it took you, to make this detailed video🤜👍
Thank you, hope it helped
Which brand is a good aftermarket one?
You have PP-Tuning, lightech, Gilles and then some. Its a question of tast so hard to give you an answer.
@@omidanka8785i bought Vortex ones, hopefully they do good
Great video, thanks man.
Thank you hope it helps
Did you have any clearance issues on the lock?
not at all
@@omidanka8785 does it have standard fairings?
No its crashfairings from CRC
Thank you very much !
your welcome
How did you calibrate the throttle? I assume u used the bmw motorcycle coding app with an obd port access of some sort but what was your process?
hi i used gs 9-11
What size socket fits the nut ?
36 :)
I like my heated grips to much
Hi, If you are on the track heated grips are not your first priority ;)
@omidanka8785 I use my bike for street and track so they are nice and late season track days are nice to have them as well j/s
@@natecote1971 That sounds great.
Question brother On this set up did it also become a action throttle for faster acceleration or just nice fancy buttons?
Hi, no unfortunately you need to change the throttle for that
Hey mate i just did this install. Big job! Question - I've left all the o2 sensors on the bike. However the rear-left one cannot be moved back to the rear hole, as it has zero slack in the cable, so i put it in the front hole. And put the front sensor in the rear hole. This was the only way i could make it fit. I guess it will be ok as i am getting the rs2e map and they disable the rear sensors. But now I'm thinking i should just remove the tank and pull them out!
Hi Rob Great job. I would remove them an plugg the hole . the bike is calculating the fuel and air mixtur from the O2 sensor so dont run your bike befor RS2E done there magic :) Ride safe
@@omidanka8785 hey thanks. Yeah ECU is ready to go to the boys in Germany now. I'll look at removing the tank and pulling the rear sensors. I think I need to remove the sprocket cover and an inner one too. It's like a never ending job this one!! 😬
I know it's been a month since you posted this and I thought I had the same problem as you with the rear left sensor. Actually there is some slack in the cable and you just need to pull it with some force.
@@victorabdelmalek7530 ah cheers mate. This will help some people out... Since I was getting the bike mapped, I removed the rear sensors in the end so all good 👍
Thanks !
Good Day sir. Question on engines. 2016 S1000RR with 33500 km. And the engine light came on today when driving. I know you’d have to see if but any idea why this might come on. Did the 30K service last year. Oil and coolant are good. Possibilities?
Hi, Its hard to give you an answer on that. What i recommend is to get an GS-911 ( www.hexcode.co.za/) that is an great tool to read the fault codes then you will know the problem
@@omidanka8785 sound good. I appreciate it.
Ignition coil mis fire on 1 is what the reader says. Only happened once. Replace? Is there 4 of these? Replace all of them just in case? Advice please.
Hi, I would change the one that is faulty they are not cheep but if you have the money change all 4
When u buy that its not include everything u need to install?
Hi, Aplharacing.com you need to buy the bracket abut you can do that from Alpharacing
Helllo, I love your videos because they show the details raw without extreme cutting. I want to ask you if you have removed the abs unit before? or if you have removed any other components from under the seat i comparison to when the bike was stock? cheers
Hi Thank you for your kind word. Yes i have removed the ABS there is a video on my Chanel on how to remove the ABS.
I need the stock switch you removed
Hi You can find them on ebay
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you
