More lumens, quick release to change batteries and i believe the led's on the pro are different. Ive had mine for almost a week now and im in love with it.. I chose the high CRI version.

@ awesome, now I have another question, the unit also serves as a power bank for your phone or something, are the batterys in the unit rechargeable through usb? Or they just take regular batterys?

there are 2 rechargeable 18650 4000mah batteries (8000mah total). They are bigger than AA batteries and containing way more energy than AA/14500 batteries if you call them regular. You can charge these batteries inside flashlight and you can charge your phone with this flashlight too.

@protechteus I haven't checked the range yet) I think it won't be anymore, but the artifacts are gone/smoothed out and the beam looks nice. As on the wurkkos ts21 approximately. I tested the same optics on the E70mini, the effect is similar.

How do you replace it? Is it pretty straight forward?

@@FalseHoodx The bezel is unscrewed, the Carclo optics fit perfectly. We turn the bezel back on and use the flashlight without artifacts.

M1 is good joice imo, because it still has nice range and another fun factor is that it's zoomable. Which version - depends on your taste to tint. If you like warmer CCT, choose high CRi 519a version and if you want you can dedome leds to have it even warmer. If you like higher output and cold white light choose 6500K version. Me personally I bought high CRI version twice and dedomed both.

I swapped all MK38 reflectors to SMO, because extra range is worth more than asthetics of beam profile on a white wall to me. XHP50 version has no visible difference between OP and SMO except tighter center, but SFT40 has really ugly, really long range beam that I like in SMO. OP gives about 200m less, but beam is smoother. To sum it up I recommend SMO ref for both.

Thank you for the words, I agree that it's great light, but requires some upgrades to be perfect. For me it would be 2nd channel red light with at least 3 brightness adjustments including ultra low mode, which I'm using really often. According to double click I think there is no connection between H modes on simple and advanced mode and in simple mode you get max brightness possible after double click.

@@protechteus You are correct. I checked the light just now and realized I was wrong and hoped I could get here to edit my comment before my error propagated. I've edited my comment now so as not to mislead anyone further. Another nice thing about the light is the deep well the lens sits in. I get sample packs* of gel lens material and cut out colored "contact lenses" to stick on top of the clear lens and which stay in place because of the walls of the well. With this hack, with the light on the lower settings I can simulate an ultra-low setting and also virtually any color light I want. However at higher settings the heat from the light absorbed by the contact lens causes it to soften and shrivel. * Such as the Rosco Gel Roscolux Swatchbook Sample Pack

lol, I thought you say that beam is green. Green light on the side of an Acebeam is a battery indicator, it light also in red when battery is low.

hello there, I think you are wrong: M1 beats M2 and M2-X in range 3 times! Zoom feature in LEP (throw) module can be adjusted between 500-1500m range in my eyes. I think if you don't kind budget that M1 MAO is you light there ✌️ I just ordered 3rd one in marbling white coating too, waiting for it to be arrived soon.

@@protechteus is turbo available when using 2 ordinary unprotected batteries? Acebeam p20 can't hold turbo with standard batteries

@@kivenkantania yes, it does. Case is that Trustfire can be turned on only by pressing tailswitch, while Acebeam P20 is possible to turn on both tail and sideswitch independently. Anyway I hadn't observed any issue in turbo with Acebeam, the only thing you can't with standard batteries is turning on by tailswitch there (which is turbo only, but you can access turbo from sideswitch as well).

it's default in stepped mode and you can choose another reversed stepped mode and ramping, so there are 3-modes of choosing modes 🤪
