I hate myself for ruining this game for me and I hate the expansion because I just can’t stand horror at all. The base game is one of my favorite games of all time and I spoiled it for myself by going on RUclips. I still listen to this every night, even if I spoiled it, that doesn’t mean the game is one of the most beautiful stories I have ever seen on a screen. Thank you.

Seeing all the Hearthians again made me really appreciate how much character the developers gave them There’s never really any reason to interact with them beyond the very first loop, because naturally the player’s curiosity (and ultimately, their awareness of the time limit) will draw them away But even that short-lived time spent with all the Hearthians is so heartfelt and genuine that it really gives you something to fight for, someone tangible to save besides yourself and the other explorers

I've been gaming for 35 years at this point, and without a doubt, Outer Wilds is one of the most emotive and atmospheric and wondrous titles I have ever played. This song hit a chord in my heart, the same way the game did. Thank you!

It's the end of my old life, and the start of a new one. Who knows what the future has in store for me? Maybe I should return to the Wilds again... Just for a little while.

Very underrated game

I miss my old dog, he passed right as I was finishing the game. Don't think I'll ever be able to separate the feelings of that and finishing this journey but it makes that theme hit so much harder. Just wanted to save the universe like I couldn't save him but what I got at the end of the game was almost like a hug letting me know time goes on and to make the most of what you have in the face of inevitable fate. I listened to reprise after all of that and it does feel like a warm blanket after everything but damn this soundtrack will always be bittersweet to me. I love you spike, I'm sorry we couldn't do more for you in the end but I'll never forget you
