@@Square-0ne Hello and thank you for the comment! At the moment, FSR hasn’t been implemented in this game. What you’re seeing here is native 1440p. During testing, I managed to achieve a stable 60 FPS on the Supreme graphics preset (which maxes out all settings), though it did result in some noticeable artifacting. For this video, I recorded on the Low preset with High-Quality textures to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable viewing experience. Additionally, since OBS couldn’t capture the game using Game Capture, I had to rely on Display Capture, which likely impacted performance slightly-meaning the game itself can perform even better under normal circumstances with an external monitor connected to bypass the Igpu due to lack of mux switch

@@TheAdvantageArena Thank you for your reply. With no upscaling, mandatory ray tracing and native 1440p this is kind of impressive for the RX6800m. In the video it looked very playable. I noticed AMD SmartShift did not activate.

@@Square-0ne Hello again and absolutely! The RX 6800M handles this game brilliantly. As for SmartShift not triggering, there are a few possible reasons. One is that the system didn’t require extra power during my testing, as I had set the Dynamic Resolution scaling target FPS at 60, reducing the overall demand. Another reason is that SmartShift typically activates when either the CPU or GPU isn’t fully taxed and can share power between them. In my case, both were under significant load-playing the game and recording simultaneously with OBS-so there was no opportunity for SmartShift to kick in. This is fairly typical in scenarios involving multitasking like gaming and recording. I have done some benchmarking using 3D mark timespy and this RX6800m can chug upto 177W in a GPU only workload easily.

@@TheAdvantageArena Thanks, very interesting indeed. We have a ASUS G15 here and I could not find a pattern when Smartshift activates or why it does not in some instances. Also wondering - could OBS use the 5900HX iGPU to encode the frames from the RX6800m to potentially unlock more FPS or is OBS not very taxing on the RX6800m?

​@@Square-0ne SmartShift can behave inconsistently depending on workload and thermals, so it doesn’t always seem predictable. As for OBS, offloading encoding to the 5900HX’s iGPU sounds clever, but in practice, you’d likely hit CPU bottlenecks, reducing FPS. Using the RX6800M’s encoder tends to be more efficient since OBS doesn’t heavily tax the rendering pipeline with proper settings as I’ve tested this myself by running CPU encoding on a game at both the lowest and highest graphics settings, and I got the same FPS in both cases. This shows that the CPU becomes the bottleneck during encoding, regardless of GPU load. Offloading OBS to the 5900HX’s iGPU would just add extra strain to the CPU, which wouldn’t help FPS at all. The FPS I had was consistent in these 2 leading to the conclusion of a cpu bottleneck.

And thanks for the comment! 😊 I was actually using Screen Capture in OBS instead of Game Capture, which adds quite a bit of performance overhead-about a 25-30 fps drop once I start recording. Additionally, I'm recording the game on my laptop display, which is connected through the iGPU (due to the lack of a mux switch), so that also results in a bit lower performance. @@Tigrosoo it ranges from 90-75 FPS depending upon the scenario. I'm playing without external monitor meaning the performance can be improved my another 10-15% and this video was captured with OBS that hurts like another 10-15 fps

Hey! Unfortunately, AFMF 2 is restricted on our device since it doesn’t have a dedicated MUX switch. I reached out to a few friends, though, and they confirmed that connecting the laptop to an external monitor via the Type-C port should let us access AFMF 2 without any issues

@@MadnessMinati I am sorry for not showing the settings in game but its all done on “Minimum” preset at 1080p low with DLSS on “Quality” and I am using Nvidia’s “Shadowplay” to record these clips
