You need to control your right hand better, set it flatter on the strings, you are palm muting with the outer edge of your palm, where the pinkie is, do it with the meaty side where the vein goes into the palm, and hold your pick not with 3 fingers, but just between your thumb and the index finger (press the middle finger against the index finger as support, but don't hold your pick with it.) The way you hold it right now, you are moving your hand up and down basically, if you hold your hand flatter, parallel to the guitar/strings, you will move your hand from side to side. In general hold your hand flatter or thumb closer to strings, maybe lifting the other side a bit. This will give you more speed and strength, control, make picking tighter and palm mute properly. It will feel way easier to play like that, trust me, I made all the mistakes in the last 14 years of playing. For the tone, maybe it's the mics fault, but it's too bass-y. Dial in something like this: Metal pre-set as basis Gain 4-5 Bass/Low 4-5 Mid 5-6 Treble/High 6-7 Presence like a 7 if your amp has that. This might feel thin, but it will give you clarity. Especially needed for Vektor for example or Hellripper in this case. You want to punch through the sound. Don't use too much bass basically, those frequencies are for the bass player to fill. Use more Mids and Treble.
