For the next 90 days I will only be consuming liquids: teas (made from whole leaves), broths (made from boiling vegetables), and juices (made from our kuvings juicer). Amen to that thing. I attempted this once before but cut it short at 90 days. I'm super excited to reach day 90!

DC Studio Apartment Tour

I'm not the best with this video stuff but here's a tour of my apartment. I also recorded this on my iPhone 10 sooo... that's the quality. Anyway, I never saw anyone else with this layout (on YT) so I wanted to share. Also, I haven't finished decorating/furnishing my entire studio but wanted to put this up before I lose my account with Adobe. Hopefully someone finds this useful or at least inte...
I need to practice my backwards skating too but it is hard to find a good non crowded place in a busy city.
I try to find trails, office parks, never used parking lots, garages, anywhere 🙂
Try to find a hockey court in your neighborhood. It's just perfec and if there's no team playing you will be allowed.

So I've been living in an older building in NW DC but plan on moving soon. I'm looking at a ton of different apartments and hoping to hear about which ones people like or wouldn't recommend and why. Did you like this place? What building is it? How thin are the walls and average utility costs? How was the indoor temp in the winter and summer (hoping for around 70 inside year-round)?
Did you like this place? I did for the most part. It’s primarily white and as a poc I had some negative experiences. But not enough for me to completely deter anyone from living there. Just depends on the person. It was super convenient and affordable for me at the time. What building is it? 70 Capitol Yards How thin are the walls and average utility costs? The walls were great IMO! Unless someone was literally screaming or jumping in place for fun… I didn’t have issues. I could hear people from time to time but nothing serious. I’m a light sleeper so that was important to me. I also wasn’t facing construction but I did hear the highway a little to well with the windows open. I could play my 3 sonos linked with no complaints. My neighbor said they never even heard it. I had a studio for couple months then upgraded to a 1 bedroom. So between $130-$150 for the studio and $160-$180 for the 1B. The higher end was during them hot ass summers. This does not include parking which was $200. How was the indoor temp in the winter and summer (hoping for around 70 inside year-round)? Definitely not around 70. My studio had a lot of windows, and the 1 bedroom had a balcony. All that glass was letting in the cold.

My mom actually got it from Target but it's been a couple years.

Very cute. I'd move the chair to the corner you're going to pretty up. It will make the through flow to your couch cleaner looking. So will putting the TV unit right back to the wall .
That’d be an interesting layout. I’ll have to give it a try. I switch things around every now and then when I need a change of scenery. I’ve since addded & moved things around, and added a desk!
