I Hiked Above Clouds (KERALA) | INDIA
Просмотров 21 тыс.5 месяцев назад
This hike in Munnar, India turned into something completely different than I was expecting. What started as a straightforward trek transformed into this almost surreal, dreamlike experience of hiking above the clouds. If I'm being honest, my expectations for hiking in southern India were pretty low compared to famous mountain ranges. But Chokramudi ended up being one of my favorite hikes I've e...
A Sunrise Gone Wrong | INDIA
Просмотров 6 тыс.5 месяцев назад
Seeking a peaceful sunrise in India, I embarked on a jeep ride to Kolukkulamai, only to find a surprising and comical scene - massive crowds raving to loud techno music amidst a beautiful sunrise. This unexpected turn of events made for a not so peaceful, but yet hilarious experience. ► Timestamps: 00:00 - 01:00 Intro, Suryanelli 01:00 - 01:35 Traveling to sunrise location 01:35 - 02:16 Arrivin...
I went to KERALA | INDIA
Просмотров 68 тыс.5 месяцев назад
Alright, so yeah - I said I'd never go back to India again after last time. But I'm eating those words because here I am, headed right back to Kerala and the Munnar region. This little travel vlog entry follows my attempt to find some peace in India's famous tea plantations. The chaos of India really did a number on me before, but I figured I'd give it another shot now that some time has passed...

Så jäkla häftigt att följa er på era äventyr, krävs styrka, mod och beslutsamhet 👏👏 Oscar och Flora keep it Up ❤️ Jag kollar alla vids jag hittat, kramar Peter
beautiful!
I did not see the title or thumbnail but the whole video I thought it was the k2 basecamp hiking which Flora did with Devsinc team. I realized in the last minute when you said, "to reach the Everest Base Camp" and I was like ohh he did voiceover mistake 😂 anyways Nepal is beautiful, and I thought Everest base camp hike is not that difficult because it is touristy but sure it is not. Love from Pakistan ❤
Soo... now I know what to do when I get back today... :) Thanks for making these videos!
1st ❤
Did you do it without a guide? How was it? Didn’t you have any problems with the locals bc you did it by yourself?
Yeah, we did it without guide and porters. There was no issues with the locals, at all. So government instated that guides are obligatory/required to trek in Nepal - However, certain regions refused to enforce those rules (Everest region included). Only time anyone even asked was in Monjo (Entrance to the national park), but they did not care at all. The trail is almost impossible to miss, so there wasn't any problems navigating the trek at all. I just don't enjoy having guides and letting other people carry my stuff, which is why we decided to do it without. However, if that doesn't bother you, I'd definitely recommend getting at least a porter (It makes life a lot easier), and I think it's nice to support the local economy if possible.
Great, that’s good to know. I also prefer to rely on myself and not on any other people. I’m waiting for the next video, they are really well made and informative. I also hope that you will include some summary how much it cost to do it without a guide and what you packed for the trip, cause that is something I’m planning to do in the near future.
Waiting for next
I appreciate it!
Correction - Base camp is at 5,364 m (17,598 ft), not 5400+

New sub here. Love from 🇮🇳
How did you book this hike?
An hour away from kerala's capital city is ponmudi, its a mountain with around 22 hairpin bends, one bus to take you there and to come back. The place is pretty free and you can walk up to any point of the mountain except for the danger zones ofc 💀💀
That's all North Indian people making noise 😢
Please be honest no worry to say the facts Hope you enjoyed kerala
I really want to come back kerala 🥺🩷
I really want to come back kerala 🥺🩷
Bro, iam from kerala and this view is nothing as compared to whole munnar
Ngl kerala feels like home❤
this looks amazing ❤
This is why kerala is known "GOD'S OWN COUNTRY '
there are way crazier hiking spots nearby especially at vattavada which is like 60 km from munnar. we use to go for 2.5 km trekking the destination is really worth it.
Your narrations sounds like Oppenheimer documentary.
the doggos trekking with you was so cute and appreciate your filmamking it was so calm and peaceful !!
The video quality is amazing, i hope this gets more views
Wow, the quality and everything about this video is just so cool and beautiful ❤️
Bro im from Kochi, kerala and live in London. I do understand your expectation for serene untouched place, I have been to places but Kerala is the way to go man. I would suggest interior places of Munnar, Wayanad, Idukki etc. And its always better to go for cottage stays such as tentagram and the likes.
Pok
your videos make me emotional and teary ,the voice ,the shots, everything is perfect .....as an indian , your videos make me love my country even more
thought u were ryan trahan lol
As a malayalee, Kerala is just a sight for my sore eyes. I was born there and it has this overlay of transcendental goodness that I crave for. Thanks for the video.
hey, how did you get the old 8 bit kind of voice ?
Beautiful video. Pls share the music you’ve used esp at 2:00
As a malayali, its awesome to watch you guys coming by
Kerala is a beautiful place to visit. The whole state from North to South gives a hell lot of experience. Each state in India is the same Me as a malayali finds it difficult to stay in over crowded, endlessly honking places and states in India, it's frustrating even for us but if you exclude them. You can find absolute gem of places in india as well
Damn , I wanted to see more, its sooo beautiful
Yo this is some really good cinematography
i suggest you to visit Samse, Chikkamgalur, very beautiful place you will definitely love it
Your editing feels cinematic and i am quite interested for you upcoming videos too. Good luck for you guys to explore more of gods own country❤.
gg
Amazing 😍 thankz for the video🤍 just wow🌟
Dude😍 Amazing video So calm , beautifull and relaxing too Thankz for the video ❤🩹
Kerala is different from other states of India 🤍🤍
Bro! I mean, its really not your land right. So, probably best to not give this a color by saying 'gone wrong'. If you expect its only YOUR privacy, YOUR taste, YOUR vibe that matters because you've been educated in the first world. Best idea, to stay there and not explore anything that is against YOUR preferences. People you see and so easily tag as the ones, spoiling YOUR sunrise, work their lives on the fraction of the money you earn off the education and skills you attained in universities established on colonial money and loots. Have some respect by not giving everything YOUR flavour. You're most welcome as a guest. But respect the boundaries. And be respected in return. This isnt 'back home' These are people of THEIR LAND. And even if they seem crude and unrefined to YOUR eyes, they are doing it on their own land. Just remember, you came here, with a certain mindset of YOUR own. So if its not met, at times. Forget it, forgive. And move on. Indians especially give you the luxury of welcoming you to ridicule them. And you certainly seem to oblige. This behaviour seems a bit absent the moment you guys land in middle east. Which has even more pressing issues. But since you have really nothing to impose over them, you play along. Be resonable. Dont expect to get a wonderful footage friendly sunrise for the 50 cent ticket you get to buy here. Spend european standard money, book an estate in darjeeling, ladakh or himachal. And get the european standard pin drop silent sunrise vibe you seek.
Shut up. If they can put up vidoes praising Kerala, we should take the fair share of criticism too - malayalee
Come to Calicut Kerala
Kerala is different! Malayali is different!
