Great to chat with you on Sunday Seanie.A pleasure. (Christian O'Duibhi).
A load of shite
Love your videos Seánie. From a fellow Tippman.
A sacred place
Sound is weak
Have walked there many times
Love this place. Pity about the poor sound quality
Thanks for the videos. Great stuff
So interesting. It would be great to get close up shots of things. It was hard to make out details. But very much appreciated!
Lovely. Thank you so much. My family is originally from Clogheen, 1823. The well looks so peaceful and beautiful. Is it still visited?
Hi Seanie. I'm afraid you'd need to have sent someone further than you showed in this video to get footage of the Rag Well. The circular wall around the well is still there where people would hang their rags on the overhanging tree (not by the roadside, though maybe that's an option now because the journey to the well is now dangerous for the generation that would use it - or maybe the next generation doesn't know that the circular well still exists). It takes some rambling up a track and some steps to get there. You can see some pictures of it here pilgrimagemedievalireland.com/2014/04/19/the-rag-well-clonmel/ It was far more overgrown in 2018 when I visited than that link depicts, though still reachable for those sure of foot.
thank you, we were told that it was the place
Brilliant. Many thanks
Great to hear the local history . Many thanks for posting

Many thanks for posting Seaine. I have walked around the area but was not aware of its history. Keep making history Sean. Ted
a microphone wouldn't have killed ye lads. can't hear half of what ye're saying.
Born and bred up the road. Beautiful spot
thanks for the video Seanie, I grew up a quarter of a mile away and didn't know a fraction of the history of the place. Any plans to cover the church at Sandybanks or the big house at Oaklands ?
Swam in Sandy Banks, my sister and her friends saw a ghost at the entrance to the church in Sandy Banks

That's a really good job. Mladen is a bit of a hero of mine and has helped me a lot. You look like you've got a nice consistency with the briquettes. I'm going to have to get my mates to make me a press. I don't know how to weld... I could learn but my mates are engineers and mechanics so I'll use them... that's what friends are for. Best Wishes, Brendan.
baconsoda I cannot weld.....I got the metal cut and my son is a welder so it was plain sailing...best of luck
That is nice press you made,i am always happy to help someone and show how to build something, greetings to you from Croatia
+Mladen “simple is better” 365 .....thank you for all your help......I might try the shredder as a next project...greetings from Tipperary..( Ireland )
