Děkuji! Nádherná ukázka hudby z oblasti Uher (zejména těch Horních-Slovenska), Polska a Maďarska v období, které se dramaticky zapsalo do dějin Evropy. Byla to drsná doba válek proti muslimské expanzi, stejně jako bojů Uher proti habsburskému absolutismu. Vivat Kuruc!

Nem hiszem, hogy szerencsés a leszűkítő "szlovák hangszeres zene" elnevezés a nyugat-európai hatások gazdagította szlovák, cseh, magyar, lengyel, osztrák, német melódiák e gazdag kaleidoszkopjára. A régiónak, ahonnan ez a zene származik, épp a sokszínűség volt a legfőbb, legvonzóbb sajátossága.

Such a pity that such a young man took his own life. He wrote such optimistic, sparkling music it is hard to believe he was depressive. Such a loss. He could have lived another 40 years and write masterpieces, gain recognition... but decided against it! Thank you so much for posting this lovely music (it makes me think of a merry go round at the fair)

An an older senior (89); I know that Deutsche Grammophon and Angel Records; were the very best available , for many years; because of the high fidelity of the recording. Most were in stereo, which was brand new at the time (only the elite could afford stereo sets) Both brands were more expensive than RCA and other brands , and specialized in classical music recordings. Add an artist, such as Karl Richter; and it’s a winning combination.
