Hey, thank you for your video. Long story short I just got my first job, and it's been a rough 2 months. There's a lot for me to learn and re-learn things since graduate from Uni. I'm still struggling to break free from my negative self-talk. But today, right now, I will seriously practice to have a strong mindset for myself. I will re-visit this video daily juts to remind myself that I am not messing up.
I'm In a similar situation, graduated and looking for a job, having to learn a lot and relearn. Positive mindset means clearer thoughts and better performance

Such a powerful reminder to stay positive! Shifting my mindset has been key, and Habit10x really helped me stay on track.
The problem is that after some days I will forget these things and start blaming and cursing myself for being dumb. Even if I do something good, I will try to find someone who has done better to get behind them or protect myself from being good at something. If I can't find someone, then I will start finding excuses or reasons for it being a fluke. I do all this because I think, I don't deserve or I am not capable of being good at something.
For forgetfulness write it onto a paper and stick it onto a wall next to your bed so you see it everytime you wake up, or just somewhere visible, maybe even put a reminder of the message onto your phone. The lack of confidence from feeling undeserving or incapable can come from lack of stability. When you don't have a good support system to lean onto, you have to be “realistic” because the only person that's going to have to catch you is yourself. Maybe it's worth assessing your performance properly and being ok with not being above anyone. It's your timeline and your state of mind.
The more you work on you, the easier it becomes. It's not easy when you start but persistence pays off. Keep going, you can do this. Remember: every step forward, no matter how small, is a WIN!
