This is good demo

Quite pleasant tone. From here it sound better than Yamaha F30

Just got one in a somewhat beat up condition, with a faulty drive. Some repair is in order. This is one hell of a keyboard. No kidding. The speakers sound great. The styles are almost all very usable, if you are into 60s, 70s, and Volksmusik, with additional nice touch of Europop and Disco styles. But the interactive mode is somewhat confusing. I thought the keyboard was broken. Luckily I found the off button ;) But sometimes, I just press play and let it happily with itself, like a jukebox. It even weighs the same amount as a juke box, almost ;) To my mind, this is the best and last of the Yamaha oldschool entertainer keyboards. Build to last. Except for the contacts of the buttons and the drive ;)

100 demos? 😅 Seriously though if this ultra inexpensive then it's actually a nice sounding instrument. Shame no USB midi though...

Hi, thanks for review! 1) Are the keys velocity sensitive in any mode (standalone, MIDI)? 2) Does it has MIDI input over USB? Can I send MIDI track to it? What about MK1 model?

PSR-5700 , superb instrument. It can sounds great nowadays in the right hands.

I like that you play alot of the features and explain them. Thankyou. At least this keyboard is not available in the USA but I think I can get it in Puerto Rico as the island enjoys international imports not possible in the mainland USA. I am of course speaking of the rebranded version of this keyboard series as Visionkey or some other brands. Medeli fullsized keyboards ARE available in USA and Europe so worth a look

These older Yamaha arranger keyboards are so underrated. Too many people think they need a modern arranger like a Yamaha Tyros 5, Korg PA-5x or a Yamaha Genos to "sound good". But the magic is not in what keyboard you have rather your own playing skills. We need more song covers done on older keyboards!

Where can i buy this ? I live in korea.

Would love to gather up a group of friends or something and start a live techno band that does something like this, where we manually play only on electronic keyboards/synthesizers and electronic drum pads to literally 'perform' techno songs. This means we'd be playing fully live without relying on any sequencers or backing tracks at all. Could be a fun experiment! So long as the instruments we use give us the sounds we want, and the musicians in the group are good enough at playing them, I think it could actually sound pretty good as well. Might not be as melodically/rhythmically complex as it can be when using sequencers, but as long as the essential parts of the music are conveyed by the players, that extra complexity may not be needed actually. Yes, I know this idea kind of goes against the "un-human"/"machine-like" nature of techno music, but that's OK. Plus, I still think it could be fun :))).
