Easy Fresh Milled Flour Sandwich Loaf
I finally conquered a quick easy yeast sandwich loaf made from fresh milled wheat. This recipe is so easy and gets me by when I don't have time for sourdough. There definitely is a learning curve with the fresh milled flour, but once you understand the whole wheat you begin to make better bread.
500 g Hard Wheat Berries about 4- 4 1/2 C
350g water about 1 1/2 C
7 g yeast about 2 1/4 tsp
10 g salt about 1.5 tsp
28 g oil about 2 T
21 g honey about 1 T
1 egg
1 T lemon juice
