Next time you replace your timing belt, invest in an OEM pump, ditch that aftermarket garbage, and you will likely never have to replace it again. VG pumps are not driven by the timing belt, so there is no risk of a failed pump destroying the engine, therefore it's not a necessary component to replace when replacing the belt. Unless you run aftermarket, unreliable shit. An OEM pump will last through multiple timing belt intervals.

Hello, I know this video is old, but I have a question if you’re able to answer. The sensor to the left of the speed sensor in your thumbnail. I got under the 93 z32 I recently purchased and found that sensor ziptied out of the way toward the rear of the transmission. Is that the turbine revolution sensor that is supposed to be located up toward the front of the transmission at the top? I haven’t been able to pull the exhaust off yet to be able to access the top of the transmission and was wondering if that’s where it’s supposed to be. Thanks in advance.

The orange wire on the radio is the illumination wire to dim the stereo when headlights are on. It goes to the Red wire with blue stripe on the Z.

Hey man so i have a 94 nissan 300zx i wired a new radio i have 3 blue wirrs and a black wire and have no clue where they go blue goes with blue but does the black wire connect to the ground wire in the back?

Just came across this video and great info on the speed sensor test, nice detailed presentation. Question I have a 1992 300zx NA manual 2 + 0 and the OEM speed sensor 25911-30P10 is discontinued but they have the TT one 25911-40P10 that the dealer says will not work even with gear change. You note it will work in the NA with the gear change on the TT shaft. Is that because each has the same calibration of AC voltage generated vs RPM? Or slightly different and will not mater for the speedometer? Thank you very much and appreciate your comment Pete

One of the best videos on the M226 rebuild/replace! Thank you! Rebuilding my 2012 Titan using a Yukon DuraGrip limited slip differential. Quite the endeavor, especially when I found the reason my diff broke was that someone was in their and did it all wrong. So my shims on the existing pinion were all wrong. Had to revert to trial and error on the shim settings.

2005 bent RR axle. The e-locking diff axle is a pain to find. And then UPS loses it. A big ass axle SMH

the pinon bearing is not that expensive. why use and old one the first time. to save $25. and having to do the job two times..

I had My car keys stolen. Had to get a new fob for my 2015 Nissan rogue. When the guy came to program it, it wouldn't work. He said never had issues before. $420 down the drain. But he said might need the bcm replaced... Any ideas that might help so I don't have to spend an arm and leg to get one and it b a bust as well?

Hi, your video is pretty informative, my spider gears are delaminating so I'm rebuilding it. You mentioned at the end of your video that you could source a factory carrier if I understood you correctly but according to Nissan it doesn't exist anymore for the M226. I'm going with a Yukon DuraGrip limited slip and their master rebuild kit. My ring and pinion are still good.
