Добавлен 29 дек 2011
Tom Froggatt is the founder & CEO of Singular. He helps Biotech companies in the UK and Boston to build brilliant teams and cultures through great talent acquisition, creating amazing cultures and industry leading career & professional development programmes.
Tom focuses exclusively on small, innovative companies, from startups to a couple of hundred people. The leaders of these companies have great intentions, but Science and Fundraising take up so much time that the People & Culture elements of their business suffers. His work allows those leaders to focus on what they do best, while still attracting outstanding talent, retaining and developing their people and driving discretionary effort.
You'll find in-depth insight and information here on the RUclips channel, and even more over on LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok - links are below.

Stop Trying to Make Your Company a Nice Place
RUclips video SEO score is very low
so to give weight to an empity argument you use the research on full time, unlimited contract worker done by a society that gain from part time, short term worker? can you see the hypocrisy or should we call her here and let her slap your face? Worker leave bad job fast and bad manager faster. Dont search for excuses, git gud at managing, loser.

@@tomfroggatt Hello, Sir our team, just come from your RUclips channel to share with you some important problems that are preventing your channel growth.
What's up vegan? You look sad
It is a really good topic, and your points are very valid.
Thanks a lot - what was helpful for you?

good content, but i think that a reason for the low views is that people instantly swipe off because of the attention span you might need to do some cuts, so that people stay engaged, i almost swiped of too, but i wanted to help my attention span
Hmm, that’s a good point. Thanks for the feedback!
love it
Hope it helps!
Tom Froggatt, amazing content it was really good
Thanks! What did you take from it?
I have nothing to add love it
Thanks very much! It’s the basics, but so important
@@tomfroggatt in my experience: When you do the basics for a very long time, you will be better than the rest :)

You really shouldn't give a plataform to Erlich, a known fascist
Good video
Thank you - hope it helped!
Good video
Cheers! 😁
yes
Some managers need to hear this
Totally agree!
And then there are those of us who don't interview well, but work harder than anybody else you'd hire. Charisma doesn't equal a good employee. And just to expand on that a bit: being able to write a resume that can get past the AI screener doesn't equal a great employee either
I hear you - it’s hard! Couple of things - this whole idea of the “AI screener” is pretty commonly held, but I’ve never actually worked with a company that uses one. They exist, but people worry about them way too much! Interviewing’s a skill, like any other - you might not like it or be naturally gifted at it, but until we find a better way to run a hiring process (and I’m very open to ideas on this), it’s a necessary evil. We have a whole bunch of interview guides at www.singulartalent.com if it helps!
Thats true !
Same truth applies if you are on the journey all by your bloody self
Yeah I think that’s true too - thanks for commenting!
Because humans rely on social life too much. Its the reason why people get promotions they dont truly deserve
Not sure I follow?
@@tomfroggattim adding to the point. Ppl get hired this way because managers think they vibe with them. Same reason why ppl get promotions despite not working that hard.
@@mattmathematics3591 ah I see. Yes, I think that can often be true!
Lol
Why are you staring at me bro?
