In this video we will be asking political science students at one of the top universities in Indonesia whether they politically align more with China or America. We also ask their feelings on their neighbours Malaysia partnering with China. They want a more mature man who can guide them and be a good husband and leader for their future family. BUT if they want a foreigner... you can hqrdly expect a foreigner younger than mid 40s to afford to relocate or retire in the Indonesia. So with only 10 year age gap limitation, 99% of foreigners gets disqualified. Which Indonesia city was this? How is it in the Provinces?
Different mindset to Filipinas 😅
Yeah. Ironic... the Indonesians are more focused on wanting a mature husband who can guide them and be the leader. While filipinas are more playfull and not so focused. So Indonesians know whats important. BUT, indonesians has an age limit that will disqualify 99% of foreigners. While filipinas has a huge age limit, which ironicly makes filipinas find the much more mature and responsebile foreigners (without the filipinas even requeating for those characters).

I hear what they are saying they want but the age range does not correlate. 30yrs+ is going to be the minimum age of nearly all men that are mature, established and capable of leading. It takes time for a man to go through enough hard times to build himself to be the person they want. Kudos to them for knowing at least the characteristics.
indo beauty standards are too harsh because indo women are often too insecure. even if you think ur magrib, you're way more beautiful than you know. no man with a heart wants to date a "pretty" girl without one.

Yes "you" (your countrymen) do. From difficulties eith hygene, to unlimited scamcenters, to crazy predatorlike stalkers who just can not accept a "no" from a woman. That India has 1.4 billion people, will make it much more noticeable when indians do such bad stuff. But while the Philippine government is very "on it" to prevent filipinos/filipinas damaging ph reputation... the indian gov never really stops the bad apples from tqrnishing indias reputations. The scamcallcenters just bribe the local police and local politicians. And the predator sleeshy se.ual inuendos creeps know no limits to their behaviours. You encounter them regulary on the internet. They are relentless. So many such bad apples that are allowed to go unchecked, will tarnish Indias reputation as a whole. In addition, Indians often come with fake or nassproduced diplomas etc. So it just adds to the overall bad impressions other country get from india.

Mmm that is true, it depends on the individual's taste. But for example the Victoria's Secret models all mostly have a tan, same with western celebrities. Recently though some celebrities want to look less tan like Arianna Grande, so i agree it's not a major factor and it depends. The main point of that question though is that indonesians shouldnt feel pressured to have white skin because their tanned skin is seen as beautiful elsewhere in the world. When I lived and worked in Indonesia in the 1990s, I hated constantly being called 'bule'. We don't in the UK call Indonesians 'Indos' or 'Coolies'.

@IndoCurious Racism is not just white against Asians and Afro Caribbeans. I challenged some kids in Indonesia and asked in Bahasa Indonesia what the colour of their blood was. They said red of course and I said mine was the same. I told them colour is only skin deep and you must not discriminate against people whose skin colour is different. They were brown and I am white but we are all human beings and deserve respect. Those kids learnt a lesson that day. The word literally means albino, and is used for foreigners. I don't think Malaysians and Filipinos are 'bule' but brothers and sisters.

@@IndoCurious I have only been back once, in the summer of 2003 when my then Muslim Indonesian wife and I spent a month there during which my eldest son was circumcised with his cousin with a party after. You could ask if Indonesian ladies expect Western men to be circumcised if they date.
