I take your point.I wont dispute that I don't have the tech to produce top quality music but with the royalty rate that is paid, I don't see the point in spending hundreds if not thousnds on studio time or equiptment to make one song that wont get heard without even more money needed forpromotion. Do the best what you can do with what you can afford. I checked out the playlists I used for this via my artists for pro and they seem to have been removed which I assumes these were removed from spotify because they are fake.

I've not but in fairness, I probably should have if you have watched my earlier videos. I do tend to stay away from them now if I can. I've just uploaded #51 which might really help you to spot the fakes.

Since this video, I have submitted my playlists to them and I now receive submissions almost daily from artists. It is a good site for growing playlist followers. In terms of me submitting my music, I have had not a lot of luck but that could just be because people dont like my music

Nothing is guaranteed in this life. Look at the streams per listener as a gage of how fake something is.

It was clearly an accident, get over it.

Since I done this video, I have become a curator on Daily playlists and approve / reject requests on a daily basis. No word of a lie but I recieve over 2000 submissions a month. I now know that a lot of the declines you saw in this video are auto rejected after a certain amount of time. This is why the approval rate is so porr. I feel curators like me are bombarded with requests that it can be impossible to review them all. It is still a great website but beware that artists are spamming up to 25 curators each time before their credits renew.

@@anythingspossiblemusic great point - I can't imagine of how challenging it is to review music daily - there are only so many hours in a day and curators also have lives. While I am a new artist, I am not new to the music industry. I just took a really long break from it, about 20 years. Back in the late and 90s if you were an artist lucky enough to have your music exposed to a million people, you would have been considered successful, in fact quite successful. Now, you could easily be exposed to million a people by spending $250 using RUclips promotions. I am bringing this up because there is so much more music now than 25 years ago -- both good and bad -- and to review it all and give every artist feedback is impossible. I would be curious to know if there are more declines at the end of your shift (or what ever time you use to review music) than at the beginning of that shift.

Its really great that you shared this information. I still see frequent Facebook ads for this person. Amazed they have not been banned.

Well done. You are very right to do diligence checks before you get your money out. So many of these sites are a waste of money so you always need to check first. I started doing these videos because of my previous bad decisions.

It's a very interesting idea but one thing I have learnt is that artists just don't want to help each oother and think they can make it on their own. Hence why 90% of musicians fail. At least I hope to help people like you with these videos.
