Nice. It is good to know that now it is publicly shown the way of playing Dhimey. I have heard that it is a secret to learning this drum (Dhim) playing (technique). Normally it is taught to a group of the Newa community youth every 12 years. It was also not given the training to the girls. Now I am seen girls also playing it. This video was recorded 2 years back. I just saw it today.
Yes this is correct the notes are kept secret until the graduation... No outsider are allowed to enter the practice room.. The girls weren't allowed beacuse many notes had hardcore vulgar words which may be offensive to a girls...
