Are they really editing with Final Cut Pro X?
That studio is tiny! It must be hard for the Programme Director to keep on top everything (sound, visuals etc).

I wondered what happened to David Braine. Now I know. Looked to be a relaxed job as compared to NBH here in London if working in studio E’s gallery, news at 6pm weekly ends with an opt out at 6.30pm until midnight with the BBC News Channel requires a lot of staff, not just in the gallery, ‘E’ has the presenter + floor manager + a guest, in the newsroom on the ground floor’s a very complex operation, so good luck in the Channel Islands 👍.
David is actually based in Plymouth, primarily for the South West regional news branded as Spotlight but also provides the forecast for Channel Islands news.
