I have 7829 geocache finds, of which 1410 are Adventure Lab stops. That is 18%. I love doing them because they offer even more variety that caching had before. I agree with Josh and would put the one at the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis in my top 5 too. Thanks for sharing all of the great info on Labs!

I have been a single women that has traveled alone. I have had good and bad experiences traveling. My most scary moment was that I didn't have covers on my windows. I woke up to a person looking into my car. I played dumb and said "oh am I not to be here. I will move long." The person walked away but I had to get out the back passenger door to get around the car to the driver seat. Just as I was getting ready to go for it, she was walking back to me. I then had to crawl into the front seat from inside to drive away. This one the one time that I didn't have stuff in the driver seat. I was glad that I followed my gut not to put things in that seat. I drove away then pulled over to figure out where I could go for the rest of the night. After that experience, I was going to get either a stun gun and/or maize spray. I have not been out alone since then just because it hasn't had the opportunity to go out. The one trip that I was going to go across country by myself, two other friends decided that it wasn't a good plan for a single women, so they joined me for a 23 day road trip from Washington to Oklahoma and back. I had the plan to car and tent camp along the way.

Was Craig and Tim able to meet up with Gary Slinkard? Surprised the Munzee event didn't go Mega since Munzee started in TX and there's a large caching Association/community.

That was so fun. I am so proud to have you both as true geocaching friends. You have done so much to promote geocaching, vlogging, and, most recently, extending into podcasting. This was like sitting around a table, having a beer, and enjoying a conversation with friends. I would recommend two towns that have really embraced Route 66 for future "Treasure of our Town" episodes: Pontiac, IL, and Tulsa, OK. Thanks again for reaching out.

I had Putine for the first time during GeoWoodstock in Abbotsford, BC. It was great. I had grits for the first time on my trip to Oklahoma in July 2024. LOVED them.

A friend and I are possible doing Route 66 next summer.

I just did a 23 day road trip. We took so many back roads and avoided the interstates roads. It was amazing to see those rural areas. This trip was me being very flexible and not having things planned. It was hard but it rewarding also. My two travel buddies made it worthwhile.

This was a great interview. What an adventure! I loved what he said about his videos. One of the big reasons I make videos is that my kids, and my grandson Charlie will always have them. This guy reminds me that there is interesting things to see in every corner of the big country.

In Washington state, many of the Walmart are no longer allowed overnight parking, plus they aren't open 24 hrs since COVID.

Every County in Kentucky is a dry county like kentuckistan is a Commonwealth of Gods blue laws and the County jail is truth and local churches are littered on every back road to Knob Creek.

Great episode! I definitely recommend staying in Grand Forks when visiting Gilby. If you don’t, you will find yourself visiting several times anyway for restaurants and grocery options.

I don't remember all of the details, but my first peanut butter beer was a peanut butter stout that I got in a cool little place in Austin, Texas. I had never had a peanut butter beer so I was excited. I got even more excited when the waitress asked if I wanted to make a float out of it. A beer float? That sounds weird! I'll try it. And the verdict is that it was awesome! Was probably 2 million calories, but I'll walk it off geocaching.

I've been to Houma LA for the geotour. Fun time there.

Dale & I LOVE roadside attractions & BIG things! We've been to Casey, IL several times & have mailed postcards to the grandkids from the world's largest mailbox! As the Roadwarriors that we are, we have been to a lot of the attractions that were mentioned.
