super lucky we didn't get a defect , hanging out with Kev and his daughter for Jaffs and this coppa nearly got nasty 😂😂😂 when he realised I was filming he pretty quickly retreated and drove off, sorry for the poor sound it was a windy day

so a set of 7 custom pistons arrived today and I'll get one modified to match the set from the motor and then make a decision what way I'm going

at this stage I'm just investigating all the damage and looking at getting some metallurgy reports on things like valve seats and see if we can work out the whole shebang, annoyed to say the least as was promised it to be repaired and now I've been blamed and all onus taken from the guy that inserted the seats 🤔🤔🤔🤔 sometimes you just gotta let lady karma sort the shit out 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

How big is the cam? Obviously go with 13.6 CR:) The worst that can happen is you might have to run on E85 only. Or soften it with an even bigger cam.

@@ibrahimmanta6735 are you in Australia???? And these pistons are to suit 84mm crank and 138mm rod , they will also fit a 3.1 with m54b30 crank and 135mm rod but then it's 14.5-1 compression depending on chamber cc and quench measurement

@@spudmckenzie4959 the pipes are close to what I need but still may have to make a new set, once it's mocked up it gets pulled down and painted and engine gets built, this things going to be angry asf

Hey man i check the Channel reasonably regularly for your M20 content but being honest struggle to keep up with whats what - would it be possible you could sort the videos into playlists for each engine/ build etc at all? More Importantly this is gutting to see - was this the extreeme M20 you were doing with polished block, polished crank etc? also, what was the details on the head please and is it for sale? Im building another M20 Stroker at the moment and hoping for some big numbers !
@@anthonyparker7714 thanks for the suggestions , Ill try put them into playlists but I don't want my you tube to take too much time from my day, as for the monster M20 that is going back together soon, good news about the head is that port profile will be copied so I can then supply CNC port jobs at that serious level
@@Grooty79 of course, i get that, don't need youtube ruling your life ! thats great news RE the monster M20, thats gotta be the most extreme M20 I've seen, do you know what flow you were getting out of that head at all ? I'd be interested in a CNC Version if/ when that becomes available for sure!
@anthonyparker7714 the head flowed 219cfm @ 13mm lift , flowed more with increased lift and heads good for 330-350 hp if utilised to its full potential, and as soon as it's back from the machinist repairing it then I take it to my other machine shop to start mapping the ports, i have a 731 im going to enter into my cnc folder with the 885 and then i can cover both heads and both combustion chambers,

@@madeosfun6099 it's all genuine NOS panels put on a 318i , so rh drive and no import issues, the mods I'm doing I couldn't cut up a genuine so had to build one 🤗🤗🤗

@@damienelsworthy4720 nah I don't use that often but I do agree the non hardening is very good, I use PTFE paste loctite567 it's a thread sealant but works real well with o rings
I work on autos quite a lot, and nothing does my head in more than when someone puts silicone on a pan when it has a gasket. If you’re gonna use silicone anyway, why put the gasket on as well🤣

A cool car. Did you ended up dynoing it after the rebuild? Did I miss the video? M88 doesn't belong to E30 in my opinion. The magic of E30 is its low weight. Hey, that's just my opinion. I'm sure it will be a beast. I should've bought your M88 when you were trying to sell it.
@@tiitsaul9036 nope the Morris didn't go back on the Dyno as I didn't get a chance, and the m88 belongs where ever I place it 🤗🤗🤗 after driving it and building all the e30s I have I believe I can get it to handle well and pretty sure it's getting pushed back through the fire wall a little way 🤗🤗🤗

@@Grooty79 for how much you let the m88 go for? It would be absolutely crazy and unexpected to have a highly built M10 under the M3 hood.

@@spudmckenzie4959 customers have the right to what they pay for and I strive to make things as perfect as I can in there budget and sometimes there's unforeseen things that happen, easy fix so I'll get it done and returned to go back in the car 🤗🤗🤗

if its 73.5mm bore a bk450 (std type) is very unlikely to seal you need a "custom" gasket MED do a special (MLS) gasket for 73.5mm bores also at one stage not to long ago one of the uk suppliers was doing sleeves to take 73.5mm bores back to STD
I threw this engine block in the bin and have replaced the engine block and most of the parts

@@tiitsaul9036 piston is 0.90mm out of block, I'll chamfer the edge and gain enough clearance, as for ECU look up EFI Customs ☺️☺️☺️
Why u choose 2,0l head for this 2,9l ?
@@ibrahimmanta6735 because it is the most robust and least issues using 731, the 200 head has tiny ports and no room to enlarge enough and the 885 has a chamber that's too big and is prone to cracking easier

Im not sure if its from the camera not being square on to the washer or not, but it appears the interal diameter isnt central to the external diameter of that washer?
@@Bitmunt it's central it's just camera angle, I think I got small side and big side mixed around in video but the knowledge is shared so job done 💪💪💪
Nothing wrong having an untidy workspace if you are busy making things that will bring in cash. Eventually that would get sorted out. The untidiness isn't the focus. The focus should be" look guys, buhher all dust".
