@@kattrakee my dad was jimmy the guy playing next to the fiddle player. He passed away in 2021.

@@jamescantu7726 oh my gosh, I’m sorry. I know dad loved going to Texas every winter and playing music he lived for it. I have that video. It’s hard to watch because I miss my dad so much. Even after all these years he passed in 2014 is still very fresh sometimes it still feels so he’s here with us. I didn’t know a lot of dads music, friends, except the ones here at home a few close friends he knew he knew so many people in the music world, when that video was made, my sister was on vacation and was there and she’s the one that made the video. It’s the only one that I have of him playing my brother has some real to real tapes I believe, but I’m not sure when we get together as a family once in a while and, sing and play music my brother would record, but if that’s the case, he’s still has the music and since we’re strange, I probably never will hear it again. But I do have the one video on here and I’m so grateful to at least have that. Bless you and your family thanks for reaching out to me. Sorry it took so long for me to answer. Yes, Him and my Dad were good friends. The Lord called Bobby home a lot of years ago,but I remember when he did the Sunday mornings on WNWN. I remember too, that Bobby was always at the Centreville fair every year.

I was living on Lyle Avenue in Nashville Tennessee at the time I recorded this song. I was working at a produce place at the time and we started work at 4 a.m. . I recorded it on a little desktop cassette recorder at about 2:30 in the morning before leaving for work.. that was a lot of years ago, about 1991. Really not in my heart to sing that old country stuff anymore. I am not the man that I was back then oh, praise God for that! Jesus has changed my heart and direction. I guess the only reason I have left this song on here is for the sake of how my marriage turned out. That also was a lot of years ago. Dedicated to my ex-wife. Thank you so much for listening. Hoping to have some newer things out here soon. Please check back with my channel from time to time.
