Yeah, although we really had a marvelous time, local people were fabulous; driving into Mexico nowadays is a game of roulette. LOADS of folks (younger than us) will scoff at us for bailing on the "Drive The Baja" adventure -- but life is too short for the "fun". It only takes one intimidating incident to change one's mind. Right??? Cop1 kept parroting Two questions: "Where you going?" and "Where you staying?" About the 3rd time and after he let us know we could AVOID the ticket (relinquish our driver's license) but $pay the "fine".... we caught on. LOL In Mexico a "Ticket" differs from a "$Fine". ~*~ LIKE DUMMIES We had already told them which hotel we were staying at So we figured $40 was worth the "Good Will' for not taking the chance of having our car key'ed as other paranoia bad dreams spectered. ~*~ I waited two years to post this "instructional" video; but folks may need to "hear" how these Cop Stops "go down".
