Welcome to my channel. I will be showing you an array of videos inside of the welding industry as a fabricator I take on many different custom projects From the shop to the road in house and mobile. I will show you the equipment I use and sometimes welding procedures. I would like to inspire more people to become welders.

What with burning up the stainless speed of travel either go faster with smaller wire or turn it down 10 and know point a to b
Spot welding 😮
This mad cuz great job
why the hell isnt there any gas coverage on the welds? porosity in everything 0:40 looks horrible
Because that gun was pretty much dead on that airco machine if you look closely I Iliterally have washers spacing out the nozzle and clamps to hold it on. I actually just ordered a new gun last week and installed it. But we had to make ends meet with what we had at that time. Sometimes the welds came good with gas and sometimes they weren’t covered I’m welding outside also so if you listen to the video you can hear the wind blowing as well so depends on a few different factors. But majority of the welds were great if you watched the whole video they didn’t all end up like that
pop off or whateva
Did you use a primer too or is that a primer / paint all combined?
The stands were already primed I used paint only on this one
Yall hiring? Young reliable self motivated individual tired of working two jobs to support myself wanna get into a trade ASAP.
Where are you located? Go on google and call the office to put in your resume. Secured welding llc
@@SecuredWeldingLLC im in WA state and I will check it out. I’m willing to travel for an opportunity though.
@@brensbands9335 I love that. But you’re literally on the other side of the country . Call the office so I can get to number and we can catch up
Is that it?finish your vedio pls
That bead looks like you ran hard wire using pure oxygen as your shielding gas 😂
😅 not gonna lie that 120 volt power at this place was not doing the job. The machine was at its max. Could’ve taken more time putting the pass but it kept burning cold. Not a good day. But that weld was only needed to hold the plate it’s getting back filled with concrete so everything will be locked together. 😂
Curious on what you’d charge for something like that
I think I charged like $150 to repair that
How’s woody like in real life?
Thanks man
Your welcome
Good repair.
Thank you
Bruh wtf is that
Broken subframe repair. This is a common problem on the pathfinders and Nissan Muranos
Это плохая сварка
Bad comment , people like you always looking for eye candy 😂 and dont even know the science behind the work. I’ve. Been at this for over 15 years I know what works and what will not. And if I don’t I’ll find out soon on a callback which rarely happens to teach me what to do better. Trial and error my friend
@@SecuredWeldingLLC Why are you answering me? What do you want to hear? I won't tell you anything new, I've watched a lot of your videos, and your welding is mostly bad. And you made an RV trailer. That's not how a reinforcement works. By welding a plate. If there's nothing to weld, then you need to reinforce the frame. ruclips.net/video/1I4IaPL8ZBo/видео.htmlsi=KzXJoRq3RL_9eaxH This is just friendly advice.
This is a short video I added the full video to show how I reinforced the frame did you watch that one? If so and then my welding is still bad then why not reply with constructive criticism.? Why not try and sharpen my skills and teach me something I might not have learned.? Friendly advice?! Bad welding? Do you know how manny of these I’ve done? And when I check them in a year as I did this one, things are still sound and solid. Also anybody can do anything with the right budget. Do you know how I would’ve actually liked to repair this.? Be removing the subframe and putting a new one, not bandaids…… You don’t know me my skills or even took time to ask a question about why things are done the way they are. There is a saying you get what you pay for. If you can afford the proper job sometimes you have to pay for cheaper alternative. I love my customers enough to make sure anything that leaves is safe and sound. I’ve had no accidents in this department no complaints calllbacks or mishaps yet. I do what others either can’t do or won’t do because it’s quote on quote garbage work. But that’s not how I see it. I see it as another customer needing my help to get them back on the road while being safe. I reinforced the inside back plates new bottom plate and outside top plate and also welded plate to the frame to the body mount. I don’t advertise mall my work and a lot of time your might just be seeing incomplete jobs or not the finished outcome. Thanks for sharing your video I didn’t even think you were a welder but kudos to you. And if you want to be friendly share some positive outlooks with the negatives.
If you paint this with POR (paint over rust), it will not do this! Also if you paint it after repair, you will not need to do it again, or throw away the car!!!
This is 2018 .! Trying to save new cars from scrap but. I agree.! I did wire wheel everything down that grinder could reach before the spray but I’m still finding the rust returning.
My dude I too have locs and I have issues finding a hood that fits. Is the one you using in the video autodarkening? What kind is it
😂haha tricks of the trade my brother. This hood. I use in the summer when I don’t want to wear my welding masks and sweat out. Yes welder goggle auto darkening clear view.! You never used such a clean welding hood for vision. Works good for the turban and the hats. Then there are other alternatives knock off brands that offer the goggles but you need the mask even though they can disconnect or your face will burn up from the uh light. Hope this helps
Should be using a tig for this. Might with any wire is WRONG
You can mig weld with 308 ss wire and pure argon or if you get tri mix it’s even better I find I can get good mig welding for stainless. Tig is a great option to but not always the easiest method for mobile welding for beginners such as this young kid here
Wonder if he is using the wrong wire?
You’re right he was welding with regular mig wire when he should’ve atleast used 308ss wire with pure argon. But this was not the original job we came for although the customer was notified we didn’t carry that machine with us on the road he still wanted a temporary weld to stop sink from leaking. I service them regularly when I return I’ll bring the proper equipment and clean that joint up
@@SecuredWeldingLLC first intelligent response from a welding channel. Respect the honesty.
Who would've thunk it?
You!....you wouldn'tve thunk it😂
Couldnt find anyone to weld my 3 comp sink that cracked right where that guy is poking around. Ended up buying a spool of ss wire and an inexpensive mig and banging it out after not really welding for 15+ years other than a little 115v stick every couple years. Troubleshooting and repair is one of the fun parts of restaurant ops
I get called for a lot of those. Chilis Olive Garden few other mom and pops. But your right the trick is making sure to use the ss wire I’ve seen others just weld with regular not realizing soon it will rust and start again. But I worked in restaurants for years and always ended up doing the repairs on the odds and ends lol I hear ya
Watch out, if this is a fire rated door, it may not be approved.
Can you elaborate? Would be good to know why for future reference.
@@SecuredWeldingLLC absolutely, fire doors are extremely regulated, even modifications can change their fire-resistant properties. Go look at the video by Deviant Ollam on the topic of fire doors,he actually explains it so clear and has examples of many situations that change the rating of the doors, and even shows examples of videos from firefighters showing the difference between a regular door and a fire door. Interesting topic. I highly recommend the educational journey for you! Thanks for your reply
@@SecuredWeldingLLC it's called "shit's on fire yo, all about the NFPA" Something along those lines... Starting at timestamp 1 hour 34 minutes and approximately 30 seconds, he will talk about the fire doors.
@@DryLog420 hey man thanks for not only responding to the comment but also the clear elaboration. I will check it out for sure. Down to the Timelapse time 😅 that’s greatness.
@@SecuredWeldingLLC you're most welcome. Sharing information is awesome
Out of curiosity, why do they need to be welded?
The inside frame where the screws held the door to the hinge had been stripped out over the years and the door wouldn't close as it was hanging down. And even after trying to add bigger and longer hardware there is a metal plate this goes into so none of the hardware was working. So we welded the assembly together so the door would remain in place. Works like a charm
Best results start with prep work
You absolutely right. In this video I only wire wheeled the area I hadn't started grinding out the weld yet that you can see.
oh cool i wonder how that will hold up. i decided to put gussets on the shackles cuz i think itll give it more to hold on to but i might try this method out. seems a little easier
The back story is the other side of this trailer did the same thing months back and this is how we fixed it up and it has stood a good length of time without incident so I just replicated a old design. This was done in 2 hour from start to finish. Your idea with the gusset is good idea to
yup i just did this same shit friday that spot always breaks show me how you reinforce it please
ruclips.net/user/shortsPxLPcMTfS8w?si=Xm4BDRfbsB1_tJ6M This is the video that shows the reinforcement plates I added after re welding the broken area
twelco ground clamp
Someone knows there equipment 😂yes it is
😂 yessir your right 👍
@@SecuredWeldingLLC have the same one man things a beast i tell you
Should probably remove the existing weld before welding that on
I used a hard disk grind wheel to bevel and clean out my weld location. Then after I welded it I added a reinforcement plate from the frame to the mount for added security
Your mobile welding rig is my dream rig love it😊
Yo man glad to read this.! And you can get it as well as I did. Since then I’ve acquired a few more welding rigs as well as still owning that done you have seen in this video. Let me know if you ever want any suggestions or tips on setting yours up when you u get it.
Hi i am going to weld a mtb frame from scratch and ita going to be a full suspension frame what material do you think i should use i can only use a steel because i jave a mig and stick welder what type of steel should i use? And i know it will be kind of heavy but thats fine. Thanks please reply
Steel is the most commonly used material in bike frames. *Carbon or high-tensile steel is a good, strong, long-lasting steel, but it isn't as light as its more high-tech brother, the steel known as chromoly. , *A workhorse of the industry, chromoly is a light, strong steel. These would be the two I would go with if I was doing mig welding for the bike frame my brother. 🎉 Thanks for asking hope this helps
@@SecuredWeldingLLC thanks 👍 do you think that mild steel would work? There is a RUclipsr who built one out of mild steel tubing and he took it racing and it survived and no snaps or anything
i like how my z28 is almost worse :( yea idk if im ever mounting a rear axle on it
Sometimes there comes as time where you got to either go all in or withdraw your hand. Not all rust or vehicles are worth fixing by man z28?! I love those
Que chambon
Keep up the good work 💪
I appreciate you my guys thanks for watching. And will do.!!

Great job
Thanks man appreciate you watching and leaving a response
@@SecuredWeldingLLC field welding is extremely difficult other than shop welding good to see you taken on the beast of welding
Good job and keep up the good work how about cutting the handle off and drilling holes where the handle is so the handle can drop into the man hole put two nuts on the inside so the handle can hide it self but great job
Thanks for your feedback , that was a great idea. This video actually doesn’t capture the finished portion of the manhole. Although that handle was welded on the center it was for grabbing purposes. Later we actually installed side handles on both sides to keep the top flat and two handles on each end I’ll see I can post the finish and I’ll share with you
So basically you can’t weld?
Guess not
Keep ot up brother, these cars need ppl who are madly in love with them. My old girl is waiting for me to fux her. Just time, money and skills. Im sure you'll make that car great
Who's going to tell him 😂
😅 ahh why don’t you just tell me?
I never In the name of Jesus Christ ❤😮😅
Amen🎉❤
How much did you charge for this need stuff like this on my car and would like a ballpark
$250
Terrible work. For less work than youve already invested , you could have done it properly so that the repair was undetectable. An incredible waste of time and effort to do a bad job. The customer may tell you hes happy, but after the 5th person tells him how bad it looks, hes going to start blaming you, and before long you will have a walking, talking, negative billboard in your honor.
Well terrible comment, first off the customer is a do it yourself kind of guy. He originally stated after I welded it he would go and do the finish work himself….. What’s that mean? He will do his bondo and sanding and cleaning up to his own liking. That entire area was just a hole nothing there at all I pieced it all in and built it up. He didn’t even want me to grind it down. His words were to “ leave the weld in and I will will grind and finish it myself I just can’t do the welding portion” You have no idea or details of the full story. You watch a 20 second video and now you know how to tell somebody how to run there business. And you’re incorrect. $250 dollars for the time . You get what you pay for. You get what you ask for. He said and I quote “Just put some touch up paint there for me until I get around to it” So he saved himself some money and since he can self perform work to his standards he was happy when he saw the job. What’s happy mean.? Smiling laughing and thanking me for a good job to his standards. True love from a client/customer is always felt and you know when they will be returning. Moral to my comment is, seems like you had a bad day and don’t like what you saw on RUclips. So you go leaving your rude comments and unconstructive criticism on somebody else’s job that you have no idea what was entailed. Guess you weren’t brought up with proper manners , if you have nothing nice to say don’t say anything at all. It’s comments like this on why people shy away from showing there work because there is always that one person trying to beat your progress down. Well not me I took the same time with your comment to sit and reply and show you the same courtesy you gave me don’t matter what your opinion is. And although I don’t agree with it I’m happy you wrote it. All I ask is that you take the same time to read this as I did yours. 😎. And for the RECORD. My apprentice welded this in and I was happy with his work considering how much rust and nothingness there was to begin with. Take care.
Wheres the bondo bud?
Customer didn’t want any😮
I always favored function over aesthetics
Shouldny have painted it let the customer grind it and some bondo sand then pant it make it look factory.
😅 I did tell the customer we aren’t body guys but I did offer the bondo finish and asked them to get the paint from paint world so we could match it. He said no don’t worry just use a gloss black and the welded finish was good and told me if it bothered him he would do the finished layers himself. I always ask about the aesthetics and how they want the finish before I do it as the finish plays a huge part in the time and price. He just wanted this patch and plated
That's a neat edit
Appreciate your comment I was just trying different things to sample
