How come it's only one aircraft and it it's taking of from runway 07 QRAonly use runway 25 and comprise two aircraft. Someone has got this video wrong,
awesome
❤❤❤ esse é meu na hora
If you want true vertical take off you need a harrier
1000th like :)
Is this the best the Germans could do in this age ???
That's mental
Spent 6 months at Coningsby with 54 Sqn and the Phannys. Great time, great bird.
Gosh there are an awful lot of anorak gamebiy pilots here. A perpendicular climb is straight up you no nothing anoraks.
The rate of climb for Typhoon is 62,000 FPM. It is not Eurofighter, just Typhoon
what do you mean "it is not Eurofighter"? it is literally the name of the aircraft: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurofighter_Typhoon
It`s not really a vertical climb, it`s called an unrestricted climb out, usually done at around 75 degrees nose up, but it certainly is impressive to see and hear. I remember being at RAF Leuchars for the last airshow there, and they had six typhoons do this at the end of the show, none of them used much more than 35% of the runway.
Really, pilot are you?
@@jimwalsh8520 Yes Jim, as you ask, I was a pilot with the RAF for 18years mainly flying the Hawk at RAF Valley.
@@paulmca8514 You were 18 years at Valley? Sorry laddie, try again
@@jimwalsh8520 I did not say 18 years at Valley. What point are you trying to make exactly? I don`t have to justify myself to you, or anyone else for that matter.
@@paulmca8514 Oh dear, are you handbagging me?
Does anyone understand the bloody difference between taking off in a vertical axis and climbing out at > 80 degrees? Click bait: Title should be Plane climbs at 90 degrees - like the English Electric Lightening...Harriers do Vertical take off
Eurofighter: "I must go my planet needs me"
That's not what Greta would say
👍
Impresionante
Unreal piece of machinery
I was looking at some aircraft with good climb rate but now i see why is this 300+m/s
Nice video however instead of vertical takeoff it’s called a unrestricted climb mate
It's good -but I watched one years ago trying to catch a BAE Lightning over Warton aerodrome-couldnt keep up with the lightnings climb -lightning strike the best at verticals!
WHAT?? You saw a Lightning flying over Warton ONE YEAR AGO?? REALLY????????
Fantastic video!
We get them from RAF Coningsby come over our house every day heading up the east coast sometime they stop and do dog fighting right over the house..the noise is amazing and the vibrations ser.of some car alarms
Spectacular, but not as spectacular as the old BAC Lightning F6😂😂🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
That looks beautiful.
I had a diffrent idea on vertical take off
Pilots got a supereb machine
Excelent view of the three usa military helicopters my friend

how is this a vertical takeoff?
It’s called a unrestricted climb
Yes it's a Performance Take Off. I respect your enthusiasm but not exactly a vertical takeoff.
It’s called a unrestricted climb
Nice footage miss the good old rumble of the tornados 👍👍
Yep! Close enuf verticle! Raw power there! 😎..Typhoon comin thru, get out my way 😁
Why are some people are determined to put our armed forces down ,tossers
Jealousy, they know we are the best 🇬🇧
U should focus your camera and get a better picture.
Nothing but raw power right there.
False. It's the weight power ratio that is awesome. The engines themselves are not that powerful. #imfunatparties
This is nowhere near being a 'vertical takeoff' - 'steep takeoff' would be a more accurate description.
Maybe, but who's arguing? It's vertical near as damn it! It's a stonkingly impressive aircraft by any standards.
It's a vertical climb not a vertical take off
@@burnyt3077 I should have referred to the climb, but it's still not a vertical climb either. The maximum angle achieved by the aircraft would have been around 60 degrees.
@@sailorman8668 it’s called a unrestricted climb
@@burnyt3077 it’s called a unrestricted climb
Not a vertical take-off. Vertical climb-out after take off.
Wrong angle of view to see if that is vertical.
This is not a vertical take-off
The apparent steepness of the climb is greatly exaggerated when seen from the front or behind like this.
But here is the misconception: Vertical climb does not equal vertical take-off. Vertical take-off means take-off at a 90° angle to the default flight direction of that aircraft. The Harrier jumpjet or the F-35B are great examples of aircraft types capable of performing a vertical take-off. Or helicopters for that matter. So an aircraft taking off, pitching nose up, flying at an angle of around 90° to the ground is performing a vertical climb, not a vertical take-off.
@@Frank_Hofs Yes, you are definitely right about that distinction. My point was that the climb wasn't necessarily as vertical as it appeared to be, because of the direction it was filmed from.
@@fromnorway643 it’s called a unrestricted climb

Nearly as good as an EEL
Incredible
I might be like a few years late but DILLIGAF, I love how the comments are mostly filled with people saying select aircraft are better than others, Each aircraft is designed to fulfil a specific role along with different countries operating aircraft differently (Not to mention cost, You yanks saying you got better aircraft, You got more tax going into the dev for em)
This is not vtol but clickbait.
I'm just kidding nice vid
Hahahaha omg I nearly died of laughter
@@padstowmade?
Fast take off. I bet the English electric lightning would still kill the euro fighter on take off. Think the lighting still holds the record for take off an to reach 63.0000 ft to this day. That's why they are band from UK airspace.
