when checking the oil i've read not to thread the dip back in. just rest it on the start of the threads and check from there. you could have added more oil here but they also say to keep it under the top X so you're in the sweet spot anyways.
I had a red sl70 back in 1974. Great day's. Such a reliable motorcycle 🏍️ well done. These great bike's need to be saved 👍
Nice job brother
How much it will cost including all in India
I just started watching some of your videos. I’m going to go back and more of your wiring wisdom. I’m currently rebuilding the top of a 72 ct70. Do you also paint your bikes?
@@RonSalyers I don’t . I have painter and a guy that does engines also for me
Looks like you're getting her dialed in pretty nicely. Looking forward to see where you go with this project. I'll say on the fuel. The octane isn't so important. Ethanol free fuel is the key.
The bowl on the original carb can actually be taken off. I used a Dremel to cut some slots for a screwdriver, then they can be removed and bowl taken off. I’ve had extremely good luck with Nibbi 22mm carbs, on the 125 engines. The speedo on those Champions are very erratic and inaccurate. Trail Buddy and a few others sell a decent speedo for around $35 and it’s much more accurate. If you haven’t done it, I’d look into swapping the counter sprocket to a 17t. It makes 1st gear useable and lowers RPM’s in 4th.
I bought another speedo . I’m not going to use that carb . I’m sure it can be fixed but it just aggravated me mike lol. I’ll look into the sprocket sounds like a good plan thanks buddy .
Anyway you can help me finding a piston and rings for a 1974 ST90 HONDA.OR PUT ME IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE THAT MIGHT HELP ME.THANKS @@yorkymotogarage561
I read all the stickers on my bike before every ride 😆
@@johndavis6596 I bet lol . I read them and have them memorized now lol
👍
Just Beautiful…..the same year and color to the CT 70 I had as a kid in the early 70’s
Excellent demonstration
A great idea brother.
Here
Sweet
That little bike is really cool looking, reminds me of the old Honda's of the very early '70's. But never mind the bike, what about that nice old Chevy truck in the background? I had a '91, best truck I ever owned until I got my '05 that I still have.
It’s a 94 . It was my dad’s he passed in 2008 . I’ve put a lot of money in it but it’s mine and I don’t care
I was struggling until I saw this. Thank you
A sparky who knows how to fix a no electron flow. HAHAHA. Oh, and the bike fix was ok too.
Good job brother
Hi. It looks like you put the flat blade connector into the round opening of the 90-degree battery connector and just crimped together?
Great video!
This is one of the best, and complete explanations of tracing a wire harness I’ve seen anywhere. I’ve been doing motorcycle and ATV etc repair for a very long time and I get a LOT of units with wire issues, especially ones where the brother in laws uncles buddy has been in there chopping and splicing. DC electrics, 12 or 6v can be like a puzzle, but you have to understand how it all works together. Finding where someone spliced in, or out , a circuit to try to fix an issue can be time consuming, especially when they don’t understand the basics, like the systems where the motor must be running for the headlight to work. The problem is “ un F ing “ the thing to start with. Finding shorts, opens, bad solder joints or splices etc takes time and patients. This video gives a great understanding of the way to approach the process of elimination. Now some harnesses are so chopped up it’s better off to just replace the entire harness, but many times a systematic approach can noodle out all the issues. Again, time and patience. Of course these also have made me a nice little piece of change over the years or scored me some good buys on bikes when the owner is frustrated and just want to dump it for whatever they can get. Anyway, thanks for posting a thorough and comprehensive path to success for those with the patience to tackle a birds nested mess.
Where can I buy this?
The big stand I made and the red stand came from eBay

Thanks man!
I'm curious about the two different shades of blue on these to KO's. are they both correct?
Hi Brian. Enjoyed you video, thanks. Quick question, how warm do you get the hubs and rims before spray painting? Heat them in an oven or leave them out in the sun for a while? Appreciate you. Alex
I need help with my blinkers 6 volts 74 ct70 Checked out bulbs have new switch made sure orange is right side blue is left side
Grounding is. Crucial for them to work . Also have to make sure you have a functioning blinker.
Excelente 🎉
Nice job dude good information thank you😊
I want this bike so bad. Only 300ish miles is still little early to tell. Ill still prob get it lol.

I guess we’ll never see this run … they all act like they’re scared of it, or they’re going to get snowed in and can’t get home, snowmobile suit or not, from down the street or whatever. I can’t imagine having to live somewhere that the winter is so cold that it can keep you off your bike for months at a time. There must be SOMETHING appealing about it though… there’s a lotta people that want to live up there for some reason. They can have MY spot, though … I’m stayin’ in Texas…
Check out my unboxing video to see it run and my recent video of the final review released today . Thanks!!!!
I paid $500 for mine used with a clean title I’m excited. Beats a moped!
That is a beautiful color.
To anyone reading this. Avoid xpro. I bought a new motorcycle 7 months ago and to this day it still doesnt run. Most of the parts that were part of it had to be replace, company (xpro) sent me the wrong parts on several occasions, including my most recent carboretor. Its fine if you want a project but i dont have the tools, nor the money to keep changing things.
Good video Brian. Shock and bike look good!
Nice stand for ct frame ! And like your hat too !
A cool little bike.
Amazing, where do you get authentic hardware?
It was on the bike originally other stuff was acquired a long time ago . Almost not existing now .
Tall bar but no saddleback frame? Are you sure on that VIN?
Yep not all were saddleback
Interesting!
That's going to be a NICE bike! What do you use for the breather hose?
3/16 rubber hose
Please send your video to terry . He paints his shock’s TOGETHER. 😩
That’s not good and def not thorough.
