This is an absolutely garbage program put together by the corrupt incompetent DOE at the LAST MINUTE. The DOE and the IDIOT MAYOR LIED TO PARENTS when they PROMISED engagement with parents BEFORE IMPLEMENTING ANYTHING. Now they're just doing these fake "engagement" sessions and wasting everybody's time and taxpayer money. Total garbage by the DOE, lacking any sort of accountability - just look at how awful NYC's academic outcomes are, something like 65% of minority kids can't read or do math by the time the DOE allows them to graduate high school (that's right, the DOE allows totally unemployable kids to get their high school diplomas). Total garbage.

NYC Chancellor/Mayor really do not care about NYC DOE families AT ALL...much less our children. Failing them at every turn.
