Overland Eats EP 2 - Lots of Wheeling, Camping, and an Oil Leak?
Просмотров 2,4 тыс.2 года назад
2nd vlog attempt, how’d I do? On this trip we braved the craziness that is 4th of July weekend in the Colorado Rockies and took my buddy’s new to him V8 4Runner on his 1st ever trail. Looks like he’s going to need some sliders soon. Lots of wheeling and more good food in this one. Update on the Oil Leak: Apparently sometimes during heavy wheeling, the battery mount can hit the oil funnel and ca...

Episode 1: Winter cooking with Sasquatch BBQ in Buena Vista Colorado!
Просмотров 3,5 тыс.4 года назад
Just when we thought it couldn't get any colder.... For the first episode of Overland Eats TV we headed up to an icy trail outside of Buena Vista, Colorado with my pal Matt Crawford from Sasquatch BBQ. 5 days of beautiful Colorado fall weather gave way to a blizzard just as we were heading out to cook, but that didn't stop us from turning out some good food. We used Matt's own seasoning blends ...
Overland Eats Teaser Pilot (First Youtube Video!)
Просмотров 3,4 тыс.5 лет назад
For this teaser/pilot we trekked up to a great spot above Breckenridge, Colorado to cook up some filet mignon with a butter lump crabmeat topping and some creamed spinach. The weather wasn't cooperating but we managed to cook up a good meal and enjoy the views. This was my first time making a RUclips video like this, so looking for some feedback before we tape Episode 1 with a real guest chef i...
So I am not a Toyota Tundra guy grew up in a Chevy family is this Toyota Tundra 4 x 4 mostly or rear wheel drive?
that's a lot of kitchen clean up!
Why do the coachbuilder shims when you have adjustable coilovers?
But ummm
Why didn’t you go with the coach builder one and three-quarter inch shackles for the back? I agree there shims are incredible. I’ve got 1” I’m putting on the front of my 2016 added to an 8 inch ready lift, add a leaf in the rear and I’ve got the shackles coming because we’re figuring out how to stuff 41s under my 16’ tundra
any update on stage 2
I just started watching your vids. Who do you recommend for wraps and do you do your own mods? Beautifull trucks!
I don't do my own mods, but I do recommend Avery for wraps. Lucid Wraps in Denver do all mine though.
Rig
At 11 MPG you would be better off with a Power wagon.....just saying
That thing is sick! Super Jealous but inspirational.
Bro your comment was solid! Dude keep being yourself and you will shine easily about to purchase a tacoma in washington state rewlly trying to get into whwt you guys are doing
4:41 hey my knife set
A couple minutes of trail.....the remaining was more of a Food Channel thing? The riggs are loaded but, for what? Just curious, nothing got broken or dirty?
Your clips are always breaking on your bumper/flare because you haven't trimmed enough off, so your bumper is smashing against it when you articulate or drive over rough roads
Looks like good times... Thanks for sharing...
Beautiful track, I love what you did to it, i’m thinking about putting the same bumper on my 2020 Trd Pro.
Awesome content, you inspire me to keep improving my setup on my Taco and you made cooking on the trail look fun! 🤙🏾
Great video! Keep ‘em comin! 🤙🏼
White boys in all Toyota????? Now, that's a real sight.....
What rack mount are you using for your tent??
question, does the adaptive cruise control work with that bumper?
It sure does!
That's Awsome, guess I know what bumper I'm going to get now.@@OverlandEats
I just found out your Channel buddy, awesome Tacomas, awesome food and awesome video!! Subscribed!!👍👍
Damn that this is pretty, did the bull bars on the front bumper interfere with the toyota safety sense at all?
Also, do you have to reach behind the grill to hit the free spool lever?
What a spectacular way to experience the Colorado wilderness. Nice trucks, great views, and the food looks outstanding!
please tell me the how much lift you put on this truck. this is the set up i want.
Great Build! Very simple and great build. I just bought a 2014 SR5 Crewmax with 78k miles. It already had a Pro Comp lift 6 inch with FAB Four front and rear bumper.

Always take care of the chef !! If he get stuck immediately pull line to help him otherwise eat top Ramen. 😂
That breakfast was off the hook. Thank you for the video.
Them boys may not have ever had such great trail food!
Beautiful truck. Just got my tundra too. I noticed at 7:46 - left top of T has a bubble in the wrap or am I wrong?
That army green taco though 🥵
Trail food is the best!
Sick build dude! Looks great. What Size Roam cases are you currently running? They look awesome. Stuck between 83L and 95L for my Tundra
Awesome video !
