The conductor did a magnificent job.
oh my gosh i absolutely loved this song - played it at music camp over the summer, was the only bass clarinetist in the entire camp, definitely one of my favorites
I am playing this, was on timpani but got switched to chimes today because the person on them can’t make it to our concert later this year and timpani is “the least involved part”
Love this!
dude my senior bff played this on snare and he went OFF, he went crazy 😂
We played this for our all region band yesterday and it was so fun 🙏🏼
so fun to play this w you!
im playing this is song in grade 9 band, as a trumpet, I can never get that one part at bar 42 😭
OMG UR SO REAL FOR THAT NEITHER CAN I
@OfficialATOMICVR update: i got switched to trumpet 2: I can play it now :D
I played this song in the youth honor band and it was amazing. (I had the chime part) We are playing this song again at my schools spring concert and i am so excited. (This time i will have the snare part)
Absolutely love this piece. The blend and balance between the flutes, mixed with the aggressive brass parts, makes it very riveting to listen to. I play the snare part, and I love how this piece utilizes a marching snare. It makes for a very articulate sound, which I think is what’s needed for a powerful piece like this. Amazing work by the conductor too, conducting a piece with such technical parts.
Im currently playing this for my school, im on the snare and its so fun
Word, it's so epic.
max i see you
Hearing the snare up close in the middle of playing was one of the coolest moments ever it felt so amazing I still get excited and then the slower part always makes me get chills THIS SONG IS THE BEST
I absolutely loooved playing this! I came back to listen to it cause I wanted to hear the snare part and then I remembered how good it was 😭😭 the trumpet part is actually so fun and the lyrical part is so emotional and I wanna just gobble this song up I LOVE IT
The fact that nobody is talking about the conductor is crazy. Mans was COOKING 🔥🔥🔥
Came here after having a look around the Polaris Dawn Missions website and boy! Not only has it been awhile since I've seen such a lovely design on a website but it was nice to discover such a bangin song!
Great performance! And those horns!
This piece goes so hard the marching snare almost sounds like gunshots 😍
You should do sevens by Samuel hazo. There are no modern day recordings to highlight the arrangement on the net. Especially the percussion
Getting back into playing. Ima use these videos to remember how to play😂 been 8 years
i love everything this guy does
The horn part 👌 I just now preformed this a week after I watched this video I am so happy it was amazing to preform
The snare is fucking incredible in this song. I heard another local highschool band play this song really well, especially their percussion. Everytime I listen to concert band it reminds me why I joined it in the first place lol
ACTUALLY, the snare player at our school played it by himself, and just him alone, i creamed...
❤️ 🔥
chord at 193 (4:02) is INSANE. amazing snare too.
augmented chords!!
I love this song so much. I had a lot of fun playing it on the vibes last year for our spring concert!
I am marching snare.
Cool.
played this for my 6th grade concert!
bro capping 😂😂😂 spin the ones rn u ain’t gon run up on me
bro no you did not lmao
he did, i was the music stand
Wow, gorgeous recording 🙂
glad i wasnt the only one who thought a marching snare would be good in a concert band piece
fr
I love the conductors effort
im playing this for band on the alto sax😧
High desert honor band?
me three 😭
I played this piece for band, and I really enjoyed it. Every bit of it is a treat. Listening to it though, I can’t help but think it sounds like Cities:Skylines music. The only thing missing is the river, the occasional tweet thing with poorly used hashtags, and waste being pumped directly into the water supply.
It really does, finally someone else noticed
This song is so crazy… it sounds like the kind of song that you remember for years just because of how incredible it is. Like I play the accessories part and I still feel the vibes of it
I just played this at all NorthWest band at PLU in Tacoma, WA. The snare part was so fun to play
No way, I played first clarinet for this piece at PLU, and was about to say something about it...your snare playing went SO hard
@@watsonstilwell4914 thanks a ton lol
I'm playing this for my school band concert, playing the chimes is so much fun, absolutely love this song!
my bands also playing it
Anthony, I simply love watching you conduct!
Percussionist in my ms honors band, snare is super fun!
❤
It’s him! The composer😮
freaking love this piece
about to play this at my school and i gotta say it’s so much fun rehearsing rn
the symphonic band at my school played this 2 days ago for music in the parks at six flags it sounds so good in person. i’m in concert band tho so i didn’t get to play i played a different song.
