Happy Friday to you all! To finish out this week, we went back to an old favorite of ours, the Carpenters! “Superstar,” was a 1969 song was written by Bonnie Bramlett (of Delaney and Bonnie fame) based on an idea by Rita Coolidge who observed the female groupies following rock stars. The song was recorded by many musicians, but one of the most popular renditions was this one, minus Jackie and myself, of course.
