I used to ride this at the promenades mall in gatineau quebec, it reminded me of simba from the lion ing and from what I remember it played a tune similar to the lion king as the music for the ride. I always had to ride it when we would visit the mall.

This has the Stamar System-2002 timer on it, and I believe this ride was released in October 1998. An issue for NZ-based coin-op magazine, Cash Box International, shows an article for the announcement of the ride, paired with the Totally Garfield ride-on. This and Garfield would have been the last JR rides to use the System-2000 series control boxes before they switched to Soundmasters timers for a brief period from 1999 to 2000. Attract mode is the same as the police van and see saw; I walked past one once at the Gaffney Premium Outlets about 5 years ago.
