Great video! I'm a 69 year old man, and I love the Hunger Games series! Is the story of Porter official, from Suzanne Collins?
Ngl hearing Titus and his story is so scary.
There may be another reason he didn’t form an alliance with her: If it had come down to the two of them, he would have been forced to kill her, or kill himself in front of her. He was not about to subject Rue to either outcome.
We know that Katniss was born when Titus participated so we can delete the games before the 58th. After I think that we can delete the games from 58 to 61 because she would have been too young to remember. For games 62 to 65 as well as games 70 and 71 we know the winners and we know that they won thanks to their skills. After the games that we see at the beginning of the 1st film correspond to the 73rd we know that the arena does not correspond. I think that we can also delete the 72nd because I think that Katniss would have been more precise on the date of Titus' participation if it was only 2 years before her. As Titus was killed by an avalanche caused by the Capitol because there was little chance that he would be defeated otherwise we can assume that the tribu of 1, 2 and 4 were killed before him so that removes the 67th game. Which means that Titus must have participated in the 66th, 68th or 69th game.
I think it's the 72nd bc Wade won the thd 73rd, and Johanna Mason won the 71st.
Who was Wade?
Well thought out. Sub'd. Thx for the content.
They could have let Titus win to tell the audience how savage the districts are and how sophisticated the capitol is compared to them
I read a fanfic where Foxface knew the berries were poison. She thought that it would be better for Panem if Katniss and Peeta actually won, so she ate the berries on purpose. In the fanfic, her father was one of the top scientists in her district, so he was very intelligent…and Foxface inherited her IQ from him. Even Katniss mentioned in the book that she thought if any kind of intelligence tests were done that Foxface would have been the top of the tributes.
The actress who played her was more beautiful than glimmer 😂
Jason is the District 5 reaped boy tribute in the 74th annual Hunger Games, not the District 6 reaped boy tribute. Jason and Foxface are each other's fellow District 5 reaped tribute district partners.
I've always wondered. Cato accuses Jason of stealing his knife during training, but I never heard the name "Jason" anywhere else.
no he’s the d6 male?
@@Rick_King Yeah, it's only in "The Hunger Games" film adaptations movies that Jason's first name is ever revealed. Katniss never explicitly mentions Jason, nor by his name in the novels. It's just implied that Jason is another one of the reaped boy tributes who got reaped for the 74th annual Hunger Games who Katniss thought that there wasn't anything really worth especially noting about, much like she also did the same for the very next district numbered/numerical-order reaped District 6 boy tribute, too. "Jason" means/refers to the Jason input/output sockets patterns and their metal conductor/adaptor plug-in plugs here in the Western Hemisphere; America.
@@novacentorium4943 No, the reaped District 6 boy tribute in the 74th annual Hunger Games is a different reaped boy tribute who is not Jason. Jason is the reaped District 5 boy tribute who is also Foxface's fellow District 5 reaped tribute district partner.
I saw this creature in my closet when I was five…Ha
Great timing, I just watched him say, just this once for rue! Her rating was 60-1, so her chances wasn't rated well!
This was a really good take. Never even thought about it that way!
Before “The Hunger Games” I think Foxface was was in a Devo cover band.
Omg! Please make more of 13 ghosts! Great job❤
I always interpreted Thresh’s attitude towards the capitol and the games as not just anger for himself, but also for Rue since she was barely 12. It’s possible that Thresh intentionally avoided creating a bond with Rue because he knew that the Careers or other tributes might exploit it. Maybe he grew up seeing friends or tributes in past games die even if they had district alliances and he thought it would be better to not make that choice, who knows? There’s an excerpt about the Quarter Quell in Catching Fire that I think supports the idea of Thresh feeling guilty. Haymitch formed an alliance with Maysilee, but he was too late to save her after breaking off the alliance. Thresh had a chance to get some sort of revenge for Rue’s death and help Katniss out at the same time. It might not have taken away all of his guilt, but maybe he found a little peace in knowing that he at least did something to repay Katniss for doing what he couldn’t for Rue.
love the hunger games content bro keep it up
The Head Gamemaker for that year must had drowned himself in the Capitol Lake due to this Titus guy
I think he’s alien that’s skull is too big. It couldn’t be a human.
I think the premise of this video is wrong. Katniss in the books makes it clear that the partnership Haymitch forces her into with Peeta is highly unusual. None of the other Tributes wander around the training arena with their District partner and in the Chariot ride, her and Peeta's closeness is seen as unique as the other Tributes don't even look at each other. District Eleven is huge. We learn that Rue worked in the Orchards. We never hear what part of the District Thresh worked in, but in the Arena, Thresh heads straight to the grassland. Given his name and his decision to spend his time in the Grassland, it is likely that Thresh worked with wheat and grain in District eleven. So, in the Arena, given their backgrounds, it would have been highly unlikely (and detrimental to both) for Rue and Thresh to team up (Thresh being unlikely to be able to survive in the trees and Rue completely unfamiliar with the Grasses). Further, it is only after the death of Rue that the Gamemakers make the rule change. Previous to that, only one Victor was allowed and no one wanted to kill their District partner. So the idea that Thresh did or should feel "Guilty" over not partnering up with Rue makes no sense in the context of what we know about the history of the Hunger Games...
Fair point, however there are instances of people going into alliances with their district partners, even in games that pre date the 74th... And I don't believe I said that he should feel guilty. I said that guilt could have potentially played into him sparing Katniss when it would have been advantageous for him to go ahead and take her out. District 11 IS huge, and Thresh has no connection to Rue that we know of, but he said he spared her "for Rue", which is what made me wonder about all of this in the first place. It likely would have been detrimental if they teamed up, but them having different tactics in the arena didn't contribute to them not going into an alliance, as they wouldn't have known what kind of arena they would be fighting in beforehand. It could have been a barren tundra or a desert, for example.
I always took it more as shame than guilt. It wasn't normal for tributes to team up with each other and here's this girl from a totally different district who has none of his physical prowess teaming up with the tiny girl from HIS district... I just think if I was Thresh that would make me feel a certain kind of way about myself. Sad, angry, regretful, ashamed... Katniss did what he never even considered. That's gotta sting.
Oh snap I love this movie
It was so good, I'm still hoping it gets rebooted or at least gets a sequel!
Augustus’s game was fricking awesome him and Heaven from 11 were an amazing duo, rest in peace My King Auggie Braun 😭
Annie Cresta and Johanna Mason won the 70th and 71st games
Thank you for clearing it up, people need to know the facts!
@@cultofleroy Yep!
Rip Guppy…
In my opinion, i think Rue teaming up with Katniss or possibly Thresh lead to her downfall. She could've survived longer if she just hid the entire time because she can feed herself and and hides very well. The careers are targeting Katniss and Rue is her ally so that also made her a target for the careers. And same if she allied with Thresh. If she didn't get involved with the fights of the stronger tributes she could've won or at least died after foxface because unlike her she knows how to find food
You make a really good point actually. Now you have me thinking, how far could rue have made it without aligning herself with Katniss? Maybe I'll do a video talking about this. Honestly I haven't given it so much thought before, but you're right, if she hadn't been teamed up with Katniss she may have lived longer.
@@cultofleroyShe wouldn’t have won. The game makes wanted brutality. If it looked like she was going to just wait everyone out by hiding they would have engineered a way to get her into the conflict.
Facts!!
Yasssss!!
💫
Did anyone else get tearful thinking of Rue’s father feeling relieved Thresh was his daughter’s district partner? 😢 I agree with everything you say about his guilt 🫡 great vid ❤
Thank you, this was something I had been thinking about for some time, and I felt really bad for Rue's dad and her little sisters and brother too 😿
Woah
Omg thank god there is still someone that talks abb thersh
I don't see how anyone could forget such an iconic character! I have another thresh video coming a little bit later
@@cultofleroyLooking forward to it :)
@@cultofleroy Still waiting.
That scene hit my heart nice vid
Thank you, it was a really sad scene honestly
It’s been 3000 years!
My hibernation is over
Am i the only one who thought Foxface was faking her death? When i first eatched the movies and heard the canon go off, i thought maybe Tresh or Cato died and she took the oppertunity to pretend, because she knew Katniss and Peeta were near and would kill her.
I thought Thresh was killed by the muttations in the book.
I wish she was a more important character 😭😭😭
I like that they just put bro in a white morphsuit as a fit
😊
Hi
2:00 like johanana innit
Ain't no way thresh is gonna lose to Cato in his playing field. I like to think it was the mutts who got him.
katniss says nightlock berries werent done in training in the book
Poor Finch. I feel awful for her.
In the books i think she died accidentally, but in the movies i think she realised that she wouldnt be able to stand against people like katniss and cato, so she ate it on purpose
There’s not enough solid proof that she offed herself tho. This whole theory is based off of her short little scene in training where she was matching pictures, but it doesn’t even look like she was learning anything about plants
Can you do Mag's story?
I think it would be cool if The male 5 tribute survived like foxface did, i think it would be cool to find out more about him
amazing video man keep it up
Not to clever, but bad strategy, or bad luck.
Honestly, if it wasn't for the berries she would've won. If she took ALL of the cheese instead of just a bit, she'd be able to hide and wait everyone out. Maybe climb some trees, or mountains. I think she was really lucky as well because the game makers never gave her challenges, like the forest fire they put at Katniss. I also think she is right about a brain being able to beat any weapon. If she could identify any other edibles with nutrients that might even be on the other side of the arena, she could eat them and take advantage of her stealth to wait them all out.
Jesus he sure as hell don’t look like a kid. 😂
She's basically a losing johanna
