Are they interchangeable

After all these years of having this model my head strap snapped last week I have just received the G501 first day using it tomorrow

So the latest model does not have shade 14?

i would like to know about the 9002x and why it is still a higher priced item than the newer models???? and why i should choose that model over the newer ive heard nothing but great things on the 9002x and the new is nothing but problems but the head gear is a great improvement. I also would like to know how it is better than a optrel e680 since i cant find a comparison on the two thanks

The speedglas 9100 is at THE top of all welding helmets in quality.

How much is that head covering at the end? I made one out of a pair of old, woman's leather pants.

all I hear is speedglass this and miller elite that. As far as heavy auto darkening hoods... none even comes close to arc lonesome carerra hoods. no batteries, extremely light, flexible for durability and under 100.00. It is the only hood I will ever own! no more fatigue. don't believe me? Try one on... you will agree

Does the Adflo system fit all the 3m helmets im gunna order the 9100fx an need to know ?

@s1owsrt lol,nice,i guess once you get a long time career in welding,it'd be worth it,but yeah,i would rather buy some other durable helmet,cause all helmets,no matter what price you pay,have some flaws

@s1owsrt i think his point was why spend so much when you get the same thing with other helmets at varied lower prices,why put so much luxury into something you work with?

i had the flex view with side windows. it was way to heavy for my taste.

i agree with the fabricator as i also hae 1 of their lids.The 9002x is an awesome lid for tig,mig and mma welding
