I enjoy fishing the way I was taught - no electronics, no one telling me where they are. The difference on this channel is what you see are my fishing trips that have happened for a long time. I decided to add cameras a few years back but I won't turn my trips into movie studios - different than someone going out specifically to make a fishing video in order to make money. What you see is the order in which it happened, the dead space edited out. I prefer natural lakes. While small rivers/ponds can be fun, it's far less of a challenge because the fish are so contained in a small area. I've found it far more rewarding when I catch one just going by what I've learned over a lot of years. Time of year, water temperature, weed growth, time of day, depth, and other factors. The hard part about fishing isn't the catching, it's the finding. I mostly fish alone now that my father is gone and my brothers aren't available. I will do it for as long as I can to preserve my fading memories.
