Hi, I just wanted to know if you took the fabric and tossed it into the washing machine and if you did, how did it come out? Seriously, no I really mean it. I'm that cheap...Well, okay, I'm that broke! I have two ideas in mind, and one of the fabrics was a tropical palm on an upholstery fabric so it was on the pricey side. The other fascinating and scary idea that I'm thinking about I'm pretty sure I'd have to do on something else, then put up, because i want to use about 6 to 8 different kinds of fabrics I've collected over several years here and there, just waiting for the right idea to come along. Colors ranging from brilliant blue, aqua, teal, turquoise, all the way down to a seafoam green...and sort of scrunching them and twisting them into ocean waves and trying to make them look loose but blended ( yet not shaggy) and I'm worried they might slide because I'm pretty sure they'll have to be saturated and heavy. So, what do you think? I too painted a tropical mural, in my bathroom, but didn't have to worry about it when i moved out, because the bulldozer was right behind me...but the new place is very strict and I'll have to be very careful. On the bright side, I wouldn't have to worry about lining it up at the edges or about bubbles! Let me know what you think, Thanks, Kelli

I know this was years ago, but do you know what kind of paint this wall had? Was it a flat paint (no sheen or shine) eggshell or semi-gloss? I can't hang up any wallpaper in my apartment due to the paint being flat and even the peel and stick kind will destroy the wall, unfortunately. Your wall looked like flat paint, but just wanted to check before trying this. I also have "taupe" or slightly tan walls, so blemishes would stick out a bit more (not that it's 100% perfect already at no fault of my own, lol). You're starting to give me hope I can change my wall color, when I thought all hope was lost 😂

I personally did not. I didn’t want it to wrinkle. It would be up to your preference. I did test a swatch of the fabric first to make sure the fabric starch didn’t bleed. You need to get it pretty wet with liquid starch to stick.

Candace awesome video, question, I actually painted a beautiful mural of hawaiian mountains and waterfalls, ocean scenery. It was and still gorgeous; however, like children do they grow, so now I definitely don’t want to repaint over this beautiful baby room paradise art. so I was thinking a removable wallpaper? I used semi-gloss paint for the mural(which is all 4 walls) and it was good because it was so easy to wipe off food, crayons etc...in fact all 3 babies started in this room. My son is a Seahawk fan as we are die-hard 49ers go figure....anyways Candice what do you think? Is it possible to keep the mural protected under a removable wallpaper until our kids have their kids and can take this home one day for their children and slowly reveal their grandfathers artistic skills for a nursery... what’s your thoughts...Mahalo from Paradise....Dana If so, what removable wallpaper company would you recommended
