When they changed the universal speed to allow sprinting/jetpacking, and later sliding and boosting, it went from an arena shooter (skill in shooting) to a game based on movement. Halo reach, 4 and later games aren't bad, they're just not halo. If Microsoft wanted to make fortnite 2.0 they should have just ripped it off properly instead of half stepping

​@@QuietLeviathan-qv9cj reach is my favourite halo game. Multiplayer and campaign etc. however I enjoyed the game more with friends in customs. Actually online I didn't enjoy for some reason. I think halo 2 is a fundamentally better halo multiplayer

You're right. It would have been better to give the tank to the other team. Would have been a way faster win.

Bungie deserves credit for making an amazing game, but they failed to test this part and realize how broken the tank on the back hill shooting backwards so the driver cannot be sniped out truly is. It's even more broken when there's a second tank. Fun fact: the rockets from the rocket warthog and the rocket launcher actually explode after you fire them from far enough away, but the tank shot will reach the entire map

MnK is good for sniping long range and using vehicles because of the increased look sensitivity, but bad for close range short/medium BR battles. Good to have a few MnK people for vehicles, otherwise I'd stick to controller. I use controller personaly

Thanks! It was extra sweet because those guys were talking smack the previous game or two. The previous game we barely beat them, so it was nice to stop them on that one. But that's not to take anything away from them, they're not bad players.

Best times to get games are weekends, or weekdays 6pm - midnight Eastern. Nothing really outside those times sadly. You'll have better luck searching with a big party so the match composer doesn't need to find more people to fill the 16 slots needed to start a match

There are plenty of people who cheat, but they tend to stick to H3 and ranked games (2v2 and 4v4 Halo 3) It's not like they're stealing your credit card info. I come across the flagrant cheaters 2-3% of the time. Plenty of people soft cheat sadly and it's much harder to detect (seeing through walls, auto aim, faster bullets, etc)

I use PC. NVIDIA to record, and Microsoft clipchamp (both free) when I need to trim the videos. You're at a huge disadvantage on Xbox I hate to say it

It's part of the meta: Rush power weapons/vehicles, control key points of the map, spawn kill so you can run the objective. Quitting is just lame and screws everyone else on your team, especially if no one else has already quit.

You wouldn't have lasted back then in the old days when this game was in its prime.

It's been remade quite a few times. Avalanche on Halo 3 for example. Bungie made great maps, Microsoft is always happy to steal
