Congratulations on your little one!! My son was born a few months before Covid and since he was born at the end of October and was in the nicu until the end of November we really didn’t take him out much because it was cold and flu season. His big sister was in preschool at the time and when he was 4 months old she brought home a cold which we think was Covid but it was diagnosed as rsv because it was a week before they shut the country down for Covid. He was in the icu for 2 nights but ever since then he has been a normal healthy child! He is now 4 and doing great!! No long term issues or side effects. Sending you love and prayers! I know how scary the first year is with a preemie! Take care mama!

Why make him stay in the nicu so long if he was that big and could breathe after 12 hours. Where there other problems??
Luckily his breathing was good but he had to learn to eat. He was on a feeding tube for about 20 days until he was able to learn to eat and breathe at the same time. His heart rate would drop extremely low when he would try and bottle feed. His normal heart rate was around 150 but it would drop Al the way down to around 40 when he would eat because he wouldn’t breathe. Babies born early typically don’t have the strength or ability to feed like a full term baby because their bodies aren’t fully developed. Thanks for the question! I had no idea about anything nicu related until I had him! 💕

Yes momma get those deals! My Walmart has backpacks, shoes, & summer clothes for $3 and even as low as $1. I sized up and will be saving it for next year. That ghost outfit is too cute!
