Appreciated this very much! We are locals but were moved to Brockville for a job to come back to appreciate what Ottawa has to offer. Since COVID everything is so much more expensive, so to enjoy a meal out, takes some budgeting. That said, my wife and I do enjoy trying different places when we do 'spoil ourselves'. Giovanni's on Preston was amazing. Not just the food, but the staff and atmosphere. On the other side, Ottawa is 'home-y' and has many nooks with friendly, unpretentious and accommodating spaces that just make you feel good. Places we love like Reynolds on Clyde at Carling or La Bottega on George St . We have come to see that what makes a 5 star restaurant is not just the food, but along with good food there must be an enthusiastic and caring environment that adds tremendously to a simple or complicated menu.

Do you think Ottawa has many factories manufacturing facilities that hire unskilled workers? Or its a student city and public government jobs only? No need laborer or unskilled workers who has no specific profession? Like plumber or welder or carpenter or mechanic repair something else
