Easy and safe way to land a Hung Branch or Limb
Hurricane Milton blew off a large oak tree limb on the morning of Oct 10, 2024. The problem is the limb didn't fall completely, but part was hung on the trunk and the other end was balanced on its branches. It was too dangerous to attempt sawing from the bottom, because the limb moved whenever I touched the branches. Here is a demonstration of how to pull the limb down safely, so it will not fall on anybody.

Easy and safe way to clean car floor mats
Просмотров 1,7 тыс.7 лет назад
Use a leaf blower to remove particles from car floor mats, area rugs, or welcome mats. Aerodynamic flutter does the hard work, so you won't get dusty and tired ! In the past, people used rug beaters to do this. But that is inefficient and dirty. The air stream from my leaf blower shakes the rug about 180 times per minute, so it is an order of magnitude faster than a rug beater.

Easy and safe way to break a tire bead
Просмотров 4 млн8 лет назад
Use just two common garage tools to unseat even the most stubborn tire beads. Seriously easy, and won't damage your wheel ! People have asked why I went through so much trouble to just save $22 per tire mounting. Simply, it is because the shop workers don't use care while installing. They had previously scratched my hubcaps and wheels, lost custom valve caps, and incorrectly balanced new tires....

I like it! A good idea is sometimes timeless.
👆💪👍
That’s slick
It works. Love it!
Awesome idea
Awesome idea
Thanks for sharing 😢
8 years later. I just used this method for the first time. And it worked amazing!
what if u dont have slotted wheels? like atv
genius
Awesome, thanks!
That was sweet
This method to breaking a tire down is total BS everybody else don't try this because you will end up getting hurt the ratchet strap can't hold the tire on the jack
Does not work for ATV tires😭😢☹️
All it did for me was crush my tire will the ratchet buckle and lift my jack off the ground and it's a 3.5 ton jack. Tried multiple times. What am i doing wrong?
74 Chevrolet C10 has a easier way with a 4x4 he sets on bead and drives up on it
👍🏻😲👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻👍🏻
I just tried this now. Instead of breaking the bead, my strap snapped
Just FYI, Harbor Freight sells a "bead breaker" tool for $40 that works great on most tires. This method might be necessary for truly larger tires over 285 width.
I'll give it a go.
I would put two 2x4 on top and bottom and it should go lot smoother.
This method seems safe. I’ve seen several videos and all of them seem kind of dangerous. I am gonna try this. Gotta take out a tpms sensor and put in a regular stem. Tired of the slow leak.
Worked like a charm. Very helpful.
Brilliant 👌👍 thank you 🙏
Great job!!
Wondering if I'll break my straps. It's been on a while.
Yes I did. Watch out for sharp edges.
You rock, thank you!
My wheels don’t have slots
try to get the tire on and nothing!
7 years later and your still helping people, can't believe i didnt think of this, you are a genius bro
Genius❤
Genius idea
I knew by the shoe and sock combination you’d know what you were doing. Thanks!
What comes next how do you get it off from there
Freaking genius. Thank you so much!! I used this method years ago after watching your video but totally forgot about it. Now I’m finding myself needing to remove the tire from another rim and I found your video again. Thank you so much!!
Hell yeathank you for that method I will try again instead of putting the tire under the truck and using a bottle back
Too bad the camera man had no clue where to be...
Great method!
Can you give the brand of the Strap? I can't find at Home Depot.
The strap I used is an old, cheap, 15-year-old Harbor Freight strap. Any decent one will work, as there will be less than 400 pounds of tension on the strap. Home Depot and Amazon's websites list those as "Ratchet Tie-Down Straps".🙂
@@auxpowerunit Thank
You made this video 7 years ago and it's still helping people to this day. I had been struggling for hours to break the bead of my motorcycle tire before I found this video. I only had two spoons to work with instead of the preferred three. This method made it child's play.
Thanks - a very easy, time save works a treat 👌👌. Thanks from Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you, thank you, thank you I just used this method to break the bead on two 12.4x38 tractor tires.
Wow, nice way of utilizing a jack and strap to simplify work similar to a pulley? I am no expert in physics, but thats a machine that simplify work 🎉
What do you know, genius! You have saved me a lot of frustration and bloody knuckles. Of course, when I tell the story of how I replaced tires on my Gator I’ll have thought of this all on my own. But, we’ll know!
As many have pointed out already, this is a wonderful addition to any home mechanic's knowledge repertoire. Many thanks for sharing.
yes doing this was safe, easier, faster than watching more YT videos. Thanks!
I'm off to go and spend 80 dollars
2 x 6 or 8. Lay the tire flat. Place a board like a ramp. Drive up on board with another car. Boom. Done.
I can see how this might be worth the effort .Needed 2 tires dismounted and mounted and got charged 50 bucks .Used to be mabe 10 a tire.
This is a good video! I don't want to pay $25 to get tires off Aluminum rims that I want to sell to metal recycle shop because that will cut into my little profit. Thank you for this helpful tip. Going to buy a tie down Rachet next. 👌
Inspiring insight. I subscribed, and will check out your other half dozen videos from long ago. Where’d you go ? Best wishes
