Trig Bagging on the Isle of Skye - No .1 Beinn Nan Capull
There are over 50 Trig Points on the Isle of Skye. As a small challenge for weekend walks I have decided to walk them all. In no particular order and with no time schedule. Join me for my first one, Beinn nan Capull, which is located close to to where I live.
Filmed on a Sony a7iii with a compact Sony 28-60mm (also it's first test) using a matched pair of Lom Usi microphones.

A quick over night camp by a Skye loch with a stove box fire, making come coffee and watching the starts. I was originally going to take a timelapse of the stars but a camera error meant that didn't happen but it was a nice camp anyway. Filmed on a Sony a7iii, Sony 24-105mm & Sigma 35mm 1.4

First frosty weekend of December so took a walk around the hills near the house on the Isle of Skye. Filmed on a Sony a7iii with a Helios 44-2 and a couple shots with a Nikkor 28mm.

An early Summer wander in the peaceful local woodlands amongst the flowers and the trees sprouting fresh leaves for the year, then a camp up the nearby hill during the first full moon of June. Filmed in 4K on a range of vintage nikkor & Helios lenses (apart from some low light shot, the timelapse and drone footage) and audio recorded with a matched pair of Lom Usi microphones.

After a glorious sunny, hot week on the island, I packed up my newly made bikebags and set off for an overnight camping trip on the othe rside of the island to test them. The end goal was camping beside an ancient ruined broch by the township of Struan and a visit to the newly redecorated Bog Myrtle Cafe.

I spend an afternoon out at Braes Beach on the Isle of Skye looking for wildlife and having a coffee and meal on the shore. A very still and midge afternoon. This video was supposed to have ambient stereo sound however my cameras microphone input decided to break while I was out. Hope you enjoy anyway.

Great trip & videography, thanks for your effort. Is that a hexpeak tent? It looks roomy qith a decent sized porch.
Thank you. It's a 3F UL Lanshan 1, I quite like it so far as a relatively light one man tent goes. The hexpeaks tents look pretty good, I would imagine they would be roomier than the Lanshan.

Yeah it was one of my favorite streets in Dundee when I lived there.

Thanks, yeah I don’t imagine the middle part is a route that many people walk, interesting to see how the land links up between Blairgowrie and Dunkeld, probably wouldn’t have gone there otherwise.
