How to fix a motherboard that won’t play sound - USB sound card
If you break one off to install a card, but remove the card later, you can get little blanks you can screw in there. Buy yea, looks like those just come out for good.
that KDS monitor is a classic
-What’s the CPU cooler ?
Zalman?
🎉AM Mountain Dew
AMDew Computer sounds like the technical term for a sticky computer covered in dried soda and finger grease.
😂😂
Thanks bro❤
The 5600x was the better value here, but the 5800x3d provides better gaming performance. It just depends on budget and what you want to do with your pc
The psu is not backwards, this is the correct orientation
You want the fan down so it can pull in cool filtered air and not get choked
no theres no way to do it other then to just break them out. so just be sure you know which one you need to take off for your gpu
Sometimes you get replacement blanks with a new case
First of all, thats a Fractal Meshify copy, and, if you had bought the real thing, they wouldve been attached with screws. These are bend and snap off, and will not screw back on very nicely. I hope you saved a significant amount kver the 90$ newegg price. I assume youre american, you sound like it. If you are european, its worth checking the price even further. Theyre cheaper here, because fractal is chinese produced and swedish QC.
They're not soldered on they are cut with brake press, they are designed to be removed but not reinstalled only the one at the top which is for graphics card is removable and replaceable so when removed you need to get third party replacements
You bend them back and forth and they snap off so be careful you don't remove too many
They just bend n snap off
step 1 do not place the motherboard straight on your desk
@@Arvie30 why not
🤦♂️
Oof for buying a fake SSD.
Cross head driver works real well too.
You don’t need a flathead. I have started it with a Philips head screwdriver almost every time. Just don’t put pressure on I have also tried using graphite from a retractable pencil and that also was easy to use. The main thing is only touch those pins and don’t put pressure on
Correct.
Those aren't a one and a zero, they're elecrical engineering symbols for a bridged connection and an open one. They have been in use since the early 20th century.
"turn your computer to the electrical engineer symbol meaning on"
Someone that needs a guide on how to turn something on won’t know that. This is clearly a simplified video to help not be super detailed
@SolidComputers Sure, if you want to deliberately confuse them. Alternatively, "Turn your power switch to the on symbol, that's the line, not the circle." With this one, they've learned two correct things instead of one correct thing and one incorrect thing.
@@geoff2o9 agree. I should have said line and circle instead of one and zero.
but a 1 is a line and a 0 is a circle, depending on the font
Did this with my pc when the power button gave out,you can use anything metal
bro thank you so much
just what i needed
Thermal paste is overrated if you don't play games, use a computer or have the PC on. Then it's highly overrated.
People still use their PC while it is on? Armatures
@@33o00JP2 there's a lot of misconceptions out there. Many think you can't even go into the bios without it etc
You can go to windows even without thermal paste, depending on the CPU you're using, don't do that with modern i7 and i9 CPUs those heat up a lot And by any means don't use it without thermal paste just do that if you're doing tests or troubleshooting
Mistake number 4 not screwing down NVM/E Tho will work bu mehhhheee yeah.😂
Rookie PC mistake number 99999 = this PC This PC is all sorts of messed up
That’s more of a didn’t make enough research issue not a skill issue
Bro has the first gpu made 💀💀💀
Wtf is that pc
An old one
Shit BullShte. Its Bullshit
Depends if you have a vent for it at the bottom on the case, id say the bigger mistake is the cpu cooler being upside down and not mentioning it 😂
I have a question, did the protein shake ever get into the imports of the laptop? Like did the protein shake ever slid through the charging port and headphone port? Just curious because I kind of had the same situation. instead, my laptop was in my backpack and my protein shake had popped open while in the backpack.
@@Berniè11117 I think it was limited to the top of the laptop and not ports.
@@SolidComputers 👍
That orientation is 100% correct depending on a few things.Take note of where your psu fan is and where your case has vents in it, mine would be "upside down" if your reading the writing on the side because my case only has grills on the bottom, if i installed it "correctly" the fan would be rught against the case suffocating decreasing the life of the PSU. No one size fits all approach for PCs
Are you building it out of parts that you found in the Goodwill bin?😂😂😂
It just doesnt get a io shield at that point
@@Lord_Gdrald yeah. Probably not. Would only take me like 5 minutes but I don't wanna do it
Man building a pc is not hard I seen a money build one in India on the street for real 😂😂
Me too.😂😂😂❤
Got curious and decided to take a look at my power supply, and yup its upside down. Now i know what im doing this weekend.
@@crypticrug2427 haha. How long have you been running it like that?
It can look upside but be in the right orientation for ventilation. Make sure that's not the case if you're gonna flip it.
You're not the only one who forgets to do that. I forgot to put my io shield on the motherboard im currently using and probably wont for a bit at least until i have to move the parts to a new case.
Overall this built is a mistake..😂😂
If you didnt learn the first time whos the donkey
I just leave it off at that point
Beginner mistake number 1 calling an io sheild a backplate
@@blurreaper1238 what does IO stand for?
@@SolidComputersinput/output. You are correct tho, it is also called a backplate
The io shield is important too. It grounds all the connectors
Dude, I have the same motherboard and ram..did you get it abroad?
@@jaganneo I did not. In USA
I would not put such an old CD in your laptop. I have those disks blowing up on me in the past...
You mean an I/O shield
@@Qabman beginner mistake number one - not knowing the terminology
Backplate was preinstalled on my new asrock motherboard
I forgot it but nobody exept me is gonna know it so I just left it without one
3- installing the back plate wrong 😂
