Unfortunately Andy (no real bad director) wasn't the right one to direct this new interpretation. Fukunaga would've been the guy that could've mixed the bitter sweet but hope filled coming of age story with this sheer terror of shapeshifting entity from the macroverse and its influence over aeons until it posesses Derry. Muschiettis version of It is a clown centered story that portrays just some kind of surface. IT is so much more

What art tries to do is it tries to slap you awake by putting the beauty of infinite creation a little piece of it up on display for you on a pedestal so you can look at it and say oh yeah. Of course. Look there it is. It's so beautiful. It's so amazing and then that opens your eyes a little bit and you can say oh yeah look that thing's beautiful too and that's beautiful and that's beautiful and that person's beautiful and I'm beautiful. Oh my god it's all so beautiful and then that takes you to a whole new level as a human being and then you can delight in reality and you can enjoy everything as one giant work of art. He brings no perspective to the role since he has no perspective on life. The original IT wasn't even that good besides the first 1/3rd of the movies acting by Tim Curry. This movie they clearly catered to low IQ smartphone addicted kids and literal children. Our world is screwed when a movie like this gets positive reception.

I'm STILL SCARED to watch IT!! I JUST CAN'T!! I WON'T! lol. I also love kids, so... NO. I KNOW it's just a movie... but NO! I APPRECIATE Bill's INCREDIBLE TALENT and the ARTISTRY that went into MAKING the character though!! I've been looking up actors that are TALENTED at EXPRESSIONS and HIS name came up, leading me here. I DIDN'T even REALISE it was HIM that played Pennywise!! I mean, I DON'T watch HORROR , so WHY would I? lol. His FACIAL EXPRESSIONS and the FACT that he looks SO UNLIKELY to be SCARY... DAMN!
