Thank you for your story. I am so sorry you had to go through all this. Truly traumatic. I had eclampsia (full blown seizures) during second stage labor at an attempted home birth. Had a last minute c-section under general anesthesia. I was very scared with my next pregnancy, but a doctor advised me to keep a high protein diet, which I meticulously did. And I didn't have even a single worrying symptom throughout the whole pregnancy and labor! It was perfect, not a sign of pre-eclampsia. Later on I found this: ruclips.net/video/UhE-nt_Q0rM/видео.html Apparently a doctor wrote a complete book on toxemia/pre-eclampsia and the connection to a vitamin B deficiency. Many of us have a vitamin B deficiency, especially if we consume a lot of grains, which deplete vitamin B. I would love to have another baby and if I get pregnant, I will keep a high protein diet along with vitamin B supplementation. I wish you all the best with your journey. There are a lot of us out there with this risk. I wish I could give you a hug and add some courage. May God bless you with healing from this trauma and with a beautiful, peaceful, safe pregnancy in the near future. Your babies are so precious, by the way. You definitely should have more of these beauties :)
