Every time I try to go midrange with this deck I end up playing ninjitsu art of transformation for Apex Avian or Simorgh.

I personally prefer tengu format. I really enjoy the card pool. My locals does tengu nights every other week and I prefer it over edison because the card pool is bigger, XYZ decks are a thing, plus the decks are allowed to be more explosive.

I wanted to start playing tengu format online and so far I have a deck built on duelingbook. It's been challenging finding players to duel against on duelingbook and want to know of any suggestions for online game play?

Hey i watched some of your videos for sabers, subbed great content... the in-depth guide has really good info but i found that the power plays that this deck has all get stomped by any handtrap of the format: maxx c veiler herald at any point of your push can put u on either have debunk set or give up your tempo and advantage push, making u fire a blank while losing resources in the process... Since we share the love for the saber deck, and you are experienced in the format, would you be willing to do a similar video for the deck? Seeing your POV might be eye opening for a lot of people looking to grind the deck. In edison it's been having a resurgeance and just made top 4 in the latest UTW, i think it would be the proper period to hop on the algorythm and show people how it's done in tengu. 04:17 niche and specific, but at the same time its just a 1900 beater in a deck that gets cooked by Thunder King. That was my concept list with the Barbaros he was mentioning, but shoutout to everyone that ever posted on the yugioh wiki card tips. I always read that for every card I play. Also, no upstart is crazy in a deck like this that becomes a monster with offering.

I can see the theory behind that TG Machina deck. Since Genex Neutron is a light it fuels Chaos Sorc and its an 1800 body which means a NS tengu doesn't kill it easily. If the Neutron does die by battle you still break even on adding a tuner. It's also fodder for machina Fortress without needing to neg 1. The TG engiEltis to float and break even and get another tuner in rotation. There's a ton of cool stuff that deck can do. You don't need MSTs because the deck always breaks even on NSses and generates a +1 with Chaos Sorc, BLS, Cyber Eltanin. Also the Genex deck is literally modern YGO's Genex deck except in Tengu format. Its Ultimate Offering NS for each of the R Genex cards and each one acts as a gadget to make Locomotive R Genex and a ton of Karakyri Synchros. That deck is 10/10

Also only true genex connoisseurs rock the Beast King Barbaros in the side as an out to thunder king, skill drain matchups, and a 1 sided board wipe that can't be effect veiler'd in your opponent's battle phase.

The size of the tournies makes it quite hard to judge anything especially when you are cutting to top 8 in like a 25 people tourney. I think in the future if you run smaller events like these it might be good to try double-elim or a similar format rather than do swiss -> top cut. I dont think there is nearly enough sample size to draw any real conclusions overall and the fact scraps can ever win a match makes me extremely suspect of some of the results quite honestly

In game two, I would have used solemn on that gale. It gave him so much value, the reaper pop, the brio to run over cyber dragon, and the search for necrovalley. Plus you had a trishula play with cyber dragon, reaper, and veiler to follow up with on the next turn. Either way great content. I’ve been enjoying this series a lot.

What a fantastic event this was. Lots of interesting decks made the Top Cut, despite my low placement overall I thoroughly enjoyed this event and am thoroughly looking forward to the next one cheers 🎉
