Here's my thing about it. In a sense, gender is a construct ("boys can only like superheroes, girls can only like princesses," ect.) and I'm pretty sure most people can agree on that stereotype being arbitrary But there is something I've been concerned about regarding that. Doesn't *not* feeling like a certain gender tend to reinforce those stereotypes anyway? It's a different matter when a girl does not conform to those stereotypes, than for her to say she's a boy *because* she does not conform to those stereotypes, prioritizing said stereotypes as a defining feature of the gender. I've never really gotten a solid conversation going about aspects like these, though my intent isn't one of malice.

Its not on the rise this will lead to a brainwashing argument. Our visibility is getting better and we have always existed. But a crazy cult i mean religion i mean catholics and puritans had a choke hold for thousands of years.

Much of what Odom is trying to call out is the parents and schools that HEAVILY push lgbt ideology onto children that are still trying to figure out the world, who have no consent to anything, depend on their parents for everything, and still don’t know who or what they are. Yes, children have a sense of what their gender is by a young age, but that doesn’t mean these parents or teachers who are chronically online or really “prideful” should be pushing this idea of “You can be anything and still be loved!” To the point of “It’s okay to be trans/gay! In fact, YOU should be trans/gay to fully support all lgbtq+ people and feel great in your body!” That kind of thing confuses an already confused child about what they are and who they want to be. It’s the same thing as not wanting religion to be into schools for the same reasons of indoctrination. Give kids a blank slate and let them figure it out what they want to be through their own experiences, not through what people tell them. I do agree with some of your points that he does make it seem like transitioning is a one stop shop and no going back, but if you really think about all he’s saying and seeing the clips he shows a lot of this stuff should not be shown to children at such a young age. We should support children in what they want to be, but we should also just teach children basic human compassion and empathy towards everyone, so that way the numbers of children that are suicidal due to their gender identity lessens, so they have people to lean on, so they have safer environments to be in. Let children be who they want on their own terms, not what the internet or society wants just to fit into this community.

You sound like a child yourself, one that doesn't know enough about life and that's the point. A child doesn't have enough education, experience and critical thinking to fully understand how these changes can affect them for life, and that there is a millionaire medical industry pushing for this. There is no problem with a child socially transitioning or expresing themselves in terms of clothing and hairstyles, the problem is when they start to take meds that are gonna affect the natural development of their body, and gonna depend on them for the rest of their lives. And of course if they go further and have surgeries, there is no return from that.
